Best summer paw protection?

What do you use for paw protection in the summer? When I get my Dobie pup next year, I will be training him for service work. I'm concerned about protecting his paws when the ground is hot-tge dog will be with me 90% of the time. We will also be taking trips to Disneyland etc. I have used Mushers secret for winter protection in the past-does it work for summer too? Or are there good summer boots? I heard about a tuff foot type product too, but don't know how well it works. If you use boots, what's the best way to get your dog used to them? Any suggestions/advice appreciated!

I am by no means an expert but as far as I know dogs dissipate heat by panting and have some sweat glands on their paws. So i might be a bad idea to cover your dogs paws with some kind of boot or sock.

If you truly care about your dog you should keep him/her out of the heat and use the cooler morning and evening hours for outdoor activities. It doesn't matter if you have a pet, service dog, or guide dog; they, especially Dobermans, do not tolerate heat.

Please keep your dog safe!

If you're working during the day or over urban areas (bitumen, glass etc) boots are a better protection option.

If you're just working long distance (not in the heat) then mushers secret works a treat
