I had the exact same experience with Gary. Got the same story, running the company by himself, busy at tradeshows, blah, blah, blah!
6 weeks after the destruction, we received a replacement......that one was destroyed within 2 days. Heidi just opened it right up. I began emailing Gary again with pictures.....never a response. Nope, no response at all. I was so darn annoyed, I gave up. That was a year ago. Wow, now I'm annoyed all over again. Damn Gary! Primo Pads, Boo! I need a bed Heidi will not chew. That's the only object we have problems with.

I've heard a lot of complaints about the Primo pad quality and even more about poor customer service...

now I just need to find someone that has given up that wants to score ME a free one. lexx never destroys anything, and I'd love one...

I guess I'm lucky - I have the old ones. They're both about 5 years old, no problems. But mine aren't covered, they're just pieces of foam. I wish he still sold the plain foam, my dogs aren't bed destroyers and the foam works just fine for them.

He does still sell the plain foam, you just have to ask for them. I just bought some at Nationals.

Primo Pads

I LOVE my Primo Pads. You have to be careful because there are people out on the show circuit now that are trying to sell knockoffs. They tried to tell me they were just like his but they are not. Plus they are not guaranteed (probably because they know they will be destroyed in no time!) My breeder told me to get a Primo Pad so I ordered one on line. I received it in two weeks and have been so happy with it. Easy to clean and my boy has not been able to put a scratch on it. I highly recommend it.

How long have you had it? Seems like alot of people are getting replacements, even though they are free? Seems like a alot of hassle to get them replaced??

I have had WONDERFUL success with the Primo pads. Gary showed me how to remove the pan and zip tie them in to the bottom of the crates... Works wonderful. This winter, one of my dogs dug through the top, via sent a picture to Gary and has a replacement within about a month.

Mine are going on 3 years old and still going strong. When they arrived I initially would spray them w/bitter yuck and let that dry before laying them down. So far so good. One is a tie down and haven't had to tie it down even since early days.
