**1st Agility Trail**

Today was Atlantis and myself first <ever> agility trail.. we've been training and training for awhile now. And I felt it was time to bite the bullet.
So we got our first qualifying leg in NAP!! With a score of 95 and first place!! We lost our 5 pts when I sent her to a panel jump and she came back to me. I never have practiced with a panel jump, so I wasn't sure how'd it go. But I sent her to it again and no problem! Everything else was great, SO PROUD of my baby girl!!
2 More legs and she'll have her ROM!!!!!!!
Can't wait for tomorrow.. Keep your fingers crossed for us

OH, that's awesome, Ali!

I'm so glad to see you guys getting out there in this new sport for you. It's mucho fun, is it not?

If you want a cheap panel jump to practice on at home, just use binder clips to clip onto a jump bar a cut out piece of vinyl tablecloth to make it appear solid to the dog.

That does throw a lot of novice dogs for a loop, if they've not jumped to a blind landing before. Really a testament to y'alls working relationship that she trusted you enough to give it a try. :)

Good job, both of you!

Thanks!! Good idea on the panel jump!
Husband made me one already, so now I've got one. I really LOVE agility and no doubt that Atlantis does as well!

Were planning for more trails so I'm sure we will go beyond the NAP/ROM. Some point we'll have a litter this year.
