Talking Woohoo Go Lou!

Okay, so some of you might remember last week I was down because Louie wouldn't touch any contact. I've left it alone for a week now, since his agility class was cancelled (for an unknown reason) I decided to give it a go. The board has been sitting in the middle of my living room for a week now. I got the tug, and we played tug around it, then over it, then on it. Then I was so suprised, I lured him across the board three times! I about fell out! SO i put a book on the oppisite side, with no trouble, so I put another to elevate it a little more, it was 4 inches across the ground we did that three times. Then he started to get bored with it, and I stopped! Lots of praise, man he was lovin' it!

SO proud of my guy!

Thanks for all the help and support

Well done! You have the gift to know when to stop while they are having fun and wanting more. Good job!! I am so proud of you! Just keep to the small steps like you just did and it will all be fine.

Great job!! And I agree with Vivienne - sometimes stopping is so hard especially when they are doing so well. Kudos to you too!!!

OK I'm confused, I've always thought there was only ONE Louie, how many Louies are we talking about. No dog can have these many issues in 9 months time. Send that boy to me, and you can handle Viho, ha. I'll take care of Louies issues and you get yourself one of those long leather helpers aprons, and some shoulder pads, and a helmet. If your in the direction of my walk about I must stop by and evaluate BOTH of you, FREE. Research.Von.

Von...how is what I posted an issue? That's good. You yourself told me to back off with training Louie, I did for a week and did again for 10 minutes, and he did good...I'm confused, how is this in issue, this is good, not bad.

Yeah I know, but the thread was a POSITIVE thread, talking about how good Louie has been doing regarding agility. I'm stressed and sleep deprived, and sick, and grumpy.

just post back to von, ask him if his walker has wheels on all four legs or tennis balls on the back legs and wheels on the front... and I bet he has a basket on it for holding his teeth and stuff....

Elm Tree Bark, remember!! Your sleepless because you have a teenage pup who's struggling to find his Nitch. He's doing well with the board? Good. At 3am hit him in the head with a pillow and tell him to shut up, and go to sleep. Sometimes they are like kids. But your the Boss and YOU call the shots. Now I don't know how this reads? I'm not MAD, Happy or Sad, if I were you I'd be tired too. So boot him in the butt, and get some sleep, OK. Von.

D rules-my teeth are mine, and yes I bite, my wheels are HD FXR. Can you deflate a tennis ball in your hand. Be a good boy now, OK.
