Trainers in the Dallas area.

I am looking for a good trainer in the Dallas area. Lucian and I have just completed puppy school at Petsmart. I only went there because the girlfriend got it for free since she works as a groomer there. Anyway they were ok but I want better for Lucian. I was wanting to see if maybe someone that has done some training in or around the Dallas area could give me some recommendations. I seen this site in Frisco, TX Blank from what I have read on the about us page they sound like they know what they are doing. Anyone heard of them or have suggestions?

You can google Robert Williams in El Paso Tx. see if he can recommend someone near you. Also Triple Crown Training in Houstin 512 971 7243 and ask for their assistance for your area. Good luck, train em up. Von.

Okay! Jeff Bornman! He has a doberman and has trained dobermans, he teaches CGC classes as well as a CGC evaluater, he has helped me a few times over the phone with some of Louie's issues.

I highly recommend Peggy McConnel at CGC Dog Training in Flower Mound. She is excellent!! Lots of experience with Dobes and how sensitive they are.... has put a lot of top top obedience titles on dogs....

Ah...Carla, yes she is good too. I've heard about her, I've actually talked to her before I started agility training. Hmmm...she's with Sit means Sit, I think she's a GCG eval too.

UM! SCUZ' me Von! Why am I the only one that's not getting thanked here? Uh hummmm! I see how it is... lol jk.

Yeah...maybe I don't know, it's Carla from Sit Means Sit. lol. She was a bit pricey for me though, so I declined to use her. She's the one that actually refered me to my Agility group though.

My books and notes are all put away so I'm working off of a scratch pad. I may get some names mixed up so bare with me and let me know if somethings wrong, OK. The majority of my list of trainers I don't know personnally, they're recommended by friends who do know them.

Kpablo--nothing personal, just trying to make you think and relax, dogs aren't trained in a week, month, and sometimes years are needed to accomplish what you want. Louie's got time, so do you, OK. Von.

Carla Griffith is a very nice person and also a SchH USA judge. I trialed under her in Georgia for Rommel's BH. She is a "GSD" person now, but she started in the sport with a doberman. I would certainly recommend her.

Back&Black Carla has refered members here to trainers in their areas, she is busy in Sch. as you stated and many other endeavors. She's been a good source in finding quality trainers in Texas for a few members and I thank her for her help. She was recommended to me by Debbie Roetemeyer who I speak with a few times a month, very nice people who have lent a helping hand. Von.

Here is a link to a short write up about her from when she judged the B portion (obedience) at the 08' USA Nationals.
