One of the things that irritates the hell out of me (there are so many) is that when *******s pass off an animal, any animal, as a service animal it trivializes what someone with a bona fide problem goes through on a daily basis. From overly friendly people wanting to pet and distract your partner to panicked parents grabbing their children so that the killer Doberman doesn't eat them. To being stopped and questioned and told we don't allow dogs in here. To having a cashier refuse to check you out because of your "attack dog". Being told you can move into the apartment complex but you can't bring "that" dog in here because we don't allow that breed. It demeans the time and work put into your dog. It also is a huge insult to that dog. Service dogs take their job seriously and despite all the obstacles people put in their path they carry on......because this is their job. 24-7....this is their job. And they live for that.
