I love spiders... I will say, that walking down my stairs in the early morning, in late summer or fall,I have to be careful of the over night webs that have bee spun in my path.

The most common is the "Cross Orb Spider". They start out the size of a pin head, yet within weeks have a body the size of your thumb nail. They are very beneficial to your garden and the environment in general. Generically, we refer to them as "Garden Spiders"

If they stay on their side of the room, I'll stay on mine....we'll be just fine.

I never kill them; I just call my son into the room to catch them and take them away to a better place. Out of my sight.
