Critters Spotted in North Central SATX

Spring had definitely come to South Texas in San Antonio, even though northern tier states are still having winter!

Our eagle-eyed Dobe watch team recently spotted some critters at our suburban area property.

Way high, on red-tipped Photinia plant near our backyard door mother White-Winged dove spotted in nest with two baby chicks.
Unfortunately, Mr. Spock had an "accident" when the third chick strayed (or possibly ejected) from the nest earlier this week (during his potty break)...

Spock and Eva Raise Alarm- What Can it Be?...
(Yes I'm aware of Sago Palm dangers- that's why in tall pots)

....It's Opossum in Neighbor's Backyard Tree, In Daylight- Unusual Sighting

Eva & Spock Spot Something From Front Upper Porch...

...It's Two Deer Visiting- Munching on Jasmine Ground Cover

(I didn't mind as it needed trimming)

Second Shot- Ground View of Pair- Not Very Timid

Biggest nuisance is having to pick up or mulch deer turds in front yard, which both Eva & Spock think are Easter egg tasty treats...
