I have no clue what order NoBite is going to post the pics, but there is a pic of my Dry Pond, Dominic and Princess Lily Belle. One pic of the neighbors DD's (well, at least 2 of the A-holes). The black Dane pup seems okay. I hope NB blows that pic up, so you can actually see their partial pack of dogs. But, if not, you can at least see I take pride in my property and the neighbors don't.

Spock,

Patience, Grasshopper!

I don't think bears generally eat cats. Coyotes do, yes. So blame...who was it, ECIN?...who sent one directions to your place the other day.

So a story for you:
I was too little to remember, but my family had a black cat, Sam, who went missing one day. Weeks and then months went by with no cat, so my parents had given up on him. Three months later, my dad was out mowing the lawn and here came the cat, who climbed up his leg onto his shoulder and grabbed him around the neck in a big cat hug.

Good things can happen when you're mowing the grass.

Is that a Crepe Myrtle??
TN: You are correct! Now that we are in a daily rain pattern they are blooming like crazy. Love this color.
Although I took this PIC when I was out riding around in my golf cart..........for a moment I thought I saw someone looking back at me through the blinds..........probably lucky I did’nt get shot at !!!!!!

MEL is correct, but we should all know...what beers eat.
- bee hive honey & wild black berries
- Saturday morning cartoons...had to count, for Beau's early development :lame:
I rest my case !!

Thanks for your thick skinned explanation to 4x4, without being offended.. :2smile:
If I recall, doesn't member Rosemary have a similar situation with one of her children at home?

----------------------------------------

What I really wanted to comment on was your use of *joy*

Has Ma established a new grammatical punctuation for Irony or Sarcasm?
Or, maybe it could mean Double Sarcasm, obviously needed for a ferret statement. :grin2:

I like to use word/phrase quotes for sarcasm, although the purists say to avoid it.
Upon more investigation, I find out that indeed a Sarcasm punctuation mark was established in 1580, consisting of a backward question mark! It's called the SarcMark.... ؟ :2smile:

We really need this key on our keyboards ؟
:wink2:

https://problogservice.com/2011/11/30/using-the-irony-mark-or-sarcasm-mark/
Where does one go to get a backwards question mark?

I tried Ctrl\?. It didn't work...

:nerd:

Whose Chevy is that Beau? It's not Ruby!

SP - get with the program...nosey toad.

1998 Silverdo 5.7L, 4x4, 3/4 ton Eextened cab...RustyRed owned 12 years.
- still low miles, 102k or 165k Km // but full of rust-road salt belt cancer (from North)
- this truck will be my winter beater (this year) or my nice 2000 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 (??)
- Mrs still drives the trouble free v6 Toyota RAV4...a 2008 Limited AWD
- her SUV had a broken rear coil spring, last week // but only spent $400, in 4 years of vehicle repairs

2003 RubyRed QS4x4 with OEM 20" alloy rims - all polished up & wax sealed.
- the keeper truck, to preserve (for decades)...to hand down to sonny (in the long &
distant future)

Don't be silly. If I felt bad about what you said, I didn't have to even respond to your comments.

It's no secret; I've talked about him here before. Asperger's for him at this point basically just means we get to talk about what he is interested in a lot more than I want to. *roll eyes* At least, his areas of interest are, for the most part, NOT mine.

He's very talented in some areas (music, math, hard sciences, computer programming), just lacking in some others. So he's not entirely independent, but he's mostly grown out of the hard to manage behavioral stuff.

No biggie.

Besides, I wouldn't have had the *joy* of having ferrets to clean up after if he weren't living here.
My question would be, how did he come about choosing ferrets?

Ferrets are cute, but a pain in the A$$. They leave no stone un-turned!

Yes I called in today (cough, cough).

20 years ago, had a young hire in Industrial Engineering that Larry trained.
- a real sharp kid, on contract / and we became close friends
- but about once/month he started to phone in sick...always on a Monday

He would call the Beau, instead of our manager...and I would rely the message.
- so he is like...
cough, cough cough, cough // cough, cough cough, cough (on the phone call)

Larry said,
Eric, don't BS me...I've been around the block before !!
"I know your faking it, now lets create a more believable story (and I will tell the boss)".
- we laughed his Frig'en heads off // he said, "did my coughing sound that bad"?
YES I said.

SP - get WELL soon, big cough-cough slacker.

Ferrets are very cute...and fortunately they can't climb or jump very well, so you really only have to ferret-proof the bottom 3 feet of so of a room.

Example..not my ferret, but this is one of my favorite online videos showing their *wonderful* jumping ability:

But there is NO question about it...they POOP. They can't really be truly house-trained.

And they really should be allowed out of their cages for at least 6 hours a day. We used to let ours free roam in the basement, now they're out more like 8 hours these days. Apparently their digestive tracts are short, so they poop every 3 hours. Two ferrets. That's 16 goopy little piles every 24 hours.

They select certain corners, back up into them and produce. So newspapers in the corners they pick almost takes care of things. Almost. They tend to miss.

And ferrets smell. Not terribly offensive if you keep their area de-pooped, but they have their own special ferret body odor too. That's why they live in the basement.

BUT...they are cute. Insatiably curious. They follow around after you, always between your feet, with their little heads cranked up and beady little eyes staring at you. They look smarter than they are because of the way they look at you.

SP- I bet you have a pre-configured text message template as such:

"Dear Boss Hogg- This is your faithful employee, Denny (cough, cough), unfortunately, I'm feeling very sick today (cough, cough), and won't be in until <insert day/date> " :frown3:

Afternoon Diet Coke...and there's no dog or cat smothering the poor sleeper. And she's wearing slippers, not wild and fancy socks. Other than that, it's me :) Right down to the tummy.

Speaking of which...I'm expecting a phone call at 1:00 from THE GOVERNMENT :2surprise: LOL but I might just take a nap after that. It's either allergies (which I've never really had, but hope I'm not developing) or a cold coming on.

Plus my rest was disturbed last night.

Thunderstorms rolling in...poor HDD might just miss out on a walk today, or maybe we'll go to the gym later.

Let me guess:

Yogi

Though I think he was usually after "Pic-a-nic Baskets

Or maybe Winnie

And just an extra thrown in
