Hiking boots and snow boots; my cowboy boots are long gone. They were very cheap anyway...I got them as a 9th grader, I think, and left them behind when I went off to school.

So, what Walmart do you shop at?

Do you happen to have the store manager's name?

Just asking because I want to send him a Christmas card to bribe him to reveal the video footage of your behavior in his store. I am convinced it will go viral.

They showed a clip on my news station of a wedding where someone obviously didn't have a dance partner and was dancing with a pitcher of beer. I saw that this morning.

I was cracking up. See? There is sane crazy and just plain not so right crazy.

I confused myself.

Are we sane crazy, like not quite right? Or asylum crazy, on this thread?

Now I am getting worried.

Ma? Can I give him one of my GOOWSF cards? Or are you the only one to authorize those transactions?

I am going to Google Indiana Farmer Dude dancing in Walmart and see what I come up with.

This is the best I could come up with.

Good morning everyone!

As usual I have been up since 4am Mila gets up at 3:50. I say go back to bed give me 10 more minutes! She goes back to bed. And she is so kind she gives me 14 minutes. 4:04!

So this morning I have been working on my end of year review document - no fun!
As I was working I was listening to music.

Queensryche Silent Lucidity came on - I wish I had some lucidity so I can finish this work

Definition of lucidity
1: clearness of thought or style
2: a presumed capacity to perceive the truth directly and instantaneously : clairvoyance

Silent Lucidity [Queensr˙che - Live at the MTV Video Music Awards 1991/09/05
https://www.dobermantalk.com/newrepl...te=1&p=4097873

Hush now, don't you cry
Wipe away the teardrop from your eye
You're lying safe in bed
It was all a bad dream
Spinning in your head
Your mind tricked you to feel the pain
Of someone close to you leaving the game of life
So here it is, another chance
Wide awake you face the day
Your dream is over or has it just begun?

There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind
Commanding in another world
Suddenly you hear and see
This magic new dimension

I will be watching over you
I am gonna help you see it through
I will protect you in the night
I am smiling next to you, in silent lucidity

(Visualize your dream)
(Record it in the present tense)
(Put it into a permanent form)
(If you persist in your efforts)
(You can achieve dream control)
(Dream control)
(How are we feeling today, better?)
(Dream control, dream control, dream control)
(Help me)

If you open your mind for me
You won't rely on open eyes to see
The walls you built within
Come tumbling down, and a new world will begin
Living twice at once you learn
You're safe from pain in the dream domain
A soul set free to fly
A round trip journey in your head
Master of illusion, can you realize
Your dream's alive, you can be the guide but

I will be watching over you
I am gonna help to see it through
I will protect you in the night
I am smiling next to you

Silent Lucidity is the one I always remember but they actually had quite a few songs that were good.

Time to head out - have a good day everyone!

Good morning Mod and everybody else . Working here in the office this week - nice to be back home where its warm and just book work to finish up for the year . Yesterday - I restarted Kadin's in house OB classes - he really did good - will step it up to a twice a day today . Want to get into the rally OB this winter and FDC title for early next year - IF I can find some place close to do this - I truly think he would breeze right threw the FDC--- except 1 area !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being around other dogs - that will be his down fall - We will be working harder on that problem and over come it ! lol

Have a great day

Doc

Mocha has her habits too...my alarm goes off at 4:20 on weekday mornings and she'll get up with me so she can go out to potty, then when she comes back in I give her a small handful of kibble so she won't get an upset stomach, and then she heads right back to her bed and goes back to sleep.
On weekends, she gets me up between 6 and 6:30...she'll stand up and look at me and poke me with her nose to see if I'm awake. I usually try to keep my eyes closed in the hope she'll leave me alone and go back to sleep but it rarely works...and when I slowly open one eye just a little bit to see if she's gone, she'll be 3 inches away from my face, ears up, staring at me and it always makes me laugh and then of course, the gig is up and so am I

So, what Walmart do you shop at?

Do you happen to have the store manager's name?

I have a few pairs of cowboy boots, including one pair of black, butter-soft Tony Lamas. Like these: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/pr...n?cm_vc=-10005

The other ones were for riding and working, but the Tony Lamas were for going out. Once upon a time, I used to dress nice. Black (tight) Wranglers, the black boots, a pretty shirt, and a gorgeous black leather (also butter-soft, OMG) cropped jacket, with beads and fringe. Of course, now I'm 20 years older, 20 pounds heavier, and we never go out, so it all just sits in my closet gathering dust.

And speaking of Wranglers, we were in town (a 2-hour drive each way, mind you) yesterday and Rich got me a couple more pairs of jeans, because my old ones are about falling off me now. I got Wranglers, but there's no "W" on the pocket! When did they quit doing that? It's just a plain pocket with no stitching except around the edge to hold it on. I feel cheated!

There was some good news and some bad news (not about the jeans) yesterday. I went in for a cleaning and check-up at the dentist, and they said my teeth didn't NEED cleaning! WTH? They've always needed cleaning but I've been trying really hard to keep them in good shape, and it's paid off. The bad news, however, is that because I took a two year vacation from cleaning (when I lost my good hygenist and had to find a new one, and I hate the dentist so I was in no hurry), I now need a "deep" cleaning. All those 45 years I smoked did a number on my jaw bones, apparently, and my gums aren't tight against the bone anymore. It's nothing I can do anything about myself because I can't reach that deep, so they have to do it, and all for the low bonus price of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS.

I wanted to cry. We finally managed to save enough money to have our leaky roof fixed (but still can't find anyone who will come out here to DO the work), and now we're going to have to spend some of it because I didn't want to go to the dentist for two years. I guess I learned my lesson, didn't I? At least the dentist gave me a big Atta-Girl for doing such a good job on the parts of my teeth I CAN reach. But still, a grand for cleaning? That's just outrageous, in my opinion. Better than waiting for them to fall out and need dentures, though, and considering my age, and how many years I smoked, I guess I could be in a worse place. I'm trying to look on the bright side...

Good morning to everyone!
A shout goes out to Spock, John, and Beau for the excellent product suggestions, both of you are good friends!
You understood my level of pain and helped me with a solution, for this I am forever thankful.
The products should arrive soon, allowing me to cancel todays doctor appointment.
In turn, this appointment cancellation saved me alot of money of which I will spend on my christmas rescue group in the name of Spock,John and Beau! You men are just outstanding!

So sorry about your teeth Lannie as that is alot of money for sure. Sounds like you are going to deal with your teeth then roof.
Sad to have to spend savings but teeth are important.
I told Scott when I lose all my teeth I am not getting any dentures he gets what he gets.
He supported my decision
