Awwww..........

That guy at the top/end/whatever looks a little fuzzy though. I wonder what mix he is?

You know, I had to buy a laptop table to sit beside my chair so I could still twist around and use the computer--I have someone in my lap almost always, especially now when the house is a bit colder and more drafty. They usually take turns--one gets up, the other one glares and leaves--but sometimes I'm loaded down with both. Trip is piggy, though; he tends to sit on HDD's nose, which of course makes HDD leave even quicker.

I'm wondering a little now that I think of it--when they're "playing"--jostling for attention--Hairy goes underneath the cat and mouths/goes for his back legs. Is that a standard thing for dogs (who get along with cats) or is he actually being a heeler even with a cat??

Obviously it must be this:

Bone Broth AKA Voodoo Stew

https://thehippygardener.wordpress.c...a-voodoo-stew/

We all know that voodoo is a strong force in Florida, but I vote NO! Because it's made using CHICKEN FEET!!

As participants on the Chicken thread, we must uphold our brother/sister hood (siblinghood?) with our dear feathered friends, and not slide into cannibalism.

On the other hand, it does have some good nutrients for shoulder healing.

"Homemade broth is rich in calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and other trace mineral....Bone broth even contains glucosamine and chondroiton – which are thought to help mitigate the deletorious effects of arthritis and joint pain....

Further, homemade bone broths are often rich in gelatin. Gelatin is an inexpensive source of supplementary protein. Gelatin also shows promise in the fight against degenerative joint disease. It helps to support the connective tissue in your body and also helps the fingernails and hair to grow well and strong.”

Hmmm...maybe I'm on the fence with this one.

I think it depends on whether your ethical and moral standards outweigh your practical needs.

I promised the neighbor I would “make it available to him”....of which I did.
Not me....no way but I will take a good steak

I like staying home all day watching movies.
Fun.....fun fun......next week attending Nosework trials and I entered Hoss....we are in a beginners level but will be interesting to experience exercising all the rules. So many rules in nosework...real specific stuff........anyway making new friends.
Hoss he sure gets me off the couch......fun dog to hang with.
$25 per day .....not bad to be able to go hang out with my dog and other dogs within a air conditioned environment. Plus its clean.
So whats else is goin on......Lannie ..........where are you Lannie????

She must be on your side of the family.

She's on the sauce again.

Or, maybe she dipped into the bone soup.

Yep! I will take a steak over bone soup any day!

To be fair, I have never tried bone soup. Plus I don't like people to bring food to me. I don't know if they wash their hands when preparing it or not.

Again, don't do food days at work. I've seen the women's restroom and also know who doesn't wash up before leaving. Plus, it would be rude to ask who cooked this dish?

I will pass.

Same boring question this Friday, like every other Friday. What am I cooking this weekend?

Working tomorrow. Get off at 4. Have to fuel Guz up before leaving the city.

Depending upon your suggestions for groceries, I will either get off the beaten path and hit my favorite grocery store that has everything or pass my house and drive to the little grocery store which is hit and miss on the products I am seeking.

I abhor getting off the beaten path or driving past my house when I am on my way home.

I am throwing a temper tantrum, I know, but this is me!

I wonder if he's got some wire terrier something or other in him/her.

It's quite obvious you are loved with all the heating units in your lap.

I need more pics of Trip.

And, Lannie? Care to share pics of Horus?

Cuz, Scotty looks like he's doing just fine. Guess you scared the hell out of the surgeons!
