Thank you for that! I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!

Me, too, I like all his non-horror stuff. I remembered the name of the guy he co-authored something with - Peter Straub, and I actually got one of his books (Floating Dragon) which was pretty good. I wish I could remember the one he wrote with King, maybe The Talisman? I just can't remember, but it was pretty good. The two of them have similar styles.

I can remember when the sign said "One Million Sold." I guess that makes me oldt.

Oh, my soap recipes use vegetable oils. I usually use a combination of olive oil, coconut oil (for lather), and either cocoa butter or palm kernel oil (for hardness). My lye is measured out in grams, dissolved in water, and the oils heated slowly to about 100 degrees, then combined with the lye water and whisked (with the essential oils) until it thickens a bit. Then I pour it into a mold and insulate it with a comforter overnight, then cut the block into bars. My standard batch is 16 bars.

The first time I made butter, before I got a cow, but I was planning on it so I wanted to practice, I did the Mason jar thing and had about the same results you did. I finally got mad and stuck my grandma's wooden spoon (I still have that spoon) into the jar of whipped cream and beat the hell out of it, and like magic, I had a blob of butter in about 30 seconds! LOL! Now I have an electric churn which will do two quarts of cream at a time, and depending on stage of lactation and time of year, that churn will make butter in as little as 6 minutes, or as long as an hour. Right after calving, and on summer pasture makes the best, and fastest butter. Late in lactation and on winter hay makes paler butter that takes way longer to break. Still good, though, no matter how long it takes!

I had a horde of cats all run and try to get on my keyboard - I had to turn the sound off! LOL! They thought I had a mouse!

I think you think I talk too much, am I right? If you think THIS is bad, you should spend a day with me in person. If I don't have someone (human or animal) to talk to, I'll talk to myself, and I've been known to talk to inanimate objects as well. If this stupid keyboard wasn't so hinky, I'd be saying even MORE on my morning posts! But I get tired of banging on one key over and over when it doesn't respond, or backspacing to correct a key that registered a hit that I wasn't trying to hit. Flat keyboard, long(ish) nails, bad combination. So count your lucky stars!

YEp........you can. Write as much as you want.........power to the coop............🦃

There seems to be some confusion about whether or not I am able to get up early in the morning, because I was floating around here at 8:00 AM (actually 7:00 my time), but that can be explained easily.

I just hadn't gone to bed for the night yet. Snuck in a quick nap from 7:30 to 11:30 and here I am. Only to leave to walk HDD. Nice weather--the bright sun and low humidity makes it feel warmer than it actually is at close to 50 degrees.

Logically, that would be NoBite, since hasn't made enough posts on the CT to get into trouble with Ma yet!

Yeah...that's the ticket...If you recall he posted SP's pictures for a good portion of the CT history.
He must be an angel for putting up with all those late night multimedia texts and prompting* from SP....

I like grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches, with Grey Poupon country dijon mustard.

Remember my nice planned hike with Hairy Dog in our first good weather since last weekend--sunny skies, comfortable temps??

Eight to nine inches of snow melting. The mud is ankle deep. There's always something.....

Grilled cheese - another good choice. With a good tomato soup

Darn now I have to make some bread, get my wife to make some tomato soup, and buy cheese and comfort food voila - since it is a bit cooler now.

So do you like grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato sandwiches or did you mean a grilled cheese sandwich with tomatoes on it? And if so, do you put the tomatoes on there before or after grilling? If after, a bit tricky with the melted cheese, isn't it?

I know, so many questions

Push on a shove it don't mean much
Joker on jack, match on a fire
Cold on ice a dead man's touch
Whisper on a scream doesn't change a thing
Don't bring you back
Blue on black oh yeah, blue on black

Blind oh, now I see
Truth, lies and in between
Wrong, can't be undone
Oh slipped, from the tip of your tongue

Hey, blue on black, tears on a river
Push on a shove it don't mean much
Joker on jack, match on a fire
And cold on ice is a dead man's touch
Whisper on a scream doesn't change a thing
Doesn't bring you back
Blue on black, oh blue on black
Oh blue on black, oh blue on black

Guitar solo....then the last verse a couple of times
Molly Hatchet, Firthing with Disaster. This is my new anthem song!

I see this every day on the way to work. Wet pavement, tailgating, texting, skyping all at 70+ miles an hour.

I dig cruising to work like this.

Slow Ride, Take it Easy.

I know I repeat this, but...

I keep saying I am going to load my truck up with music. Just haven't got around to it.

Truck is smarter than I am.

I know it can wash dishes.

I know, so many questions
Layer cheese, then tomato, then cheese. Then grill. And be sure to smash the sandwich down as you cook it so it is flattish and toasted/buttery tasting.

Oh, and really sharp cheese. Sometimes I even add a couple of Vlasic zesty bread and butter (sweet) pickle slices. Anything that won't melt needs to be between two cheese slices to make it all stick together.

HaHa - did someone mention PapaBear's child prodigy again ?

Today @ Andrew's:
- California Knock-Down sprayed ceiling done, and looks awesome...with a 4" outside boarder.
- Plumber came to install Laundry sink / old cement one, in scrap pile
Big surprise found main water shut off defective, and City has to be called to replace / so no sink, until resolved
- Son vanity purchased new vanity, for basement bathroom (25% off Sale) / old one water damaged
- Dad picked up Delta taps, for bathroom sink @ Costco / half the price, of Big Box stores

Son went to a Hospital Charity Event tonight / and wore his new CowBoy hat , theme of the night events.
