I do believe the cattle dog bit (Ha ha pun. Get it?) though. I'd be curious to know if MC's folks dog has a leetle tendency to nip. Just how persistent and dominant is the cattle dog gene set?
I got to meet the parents' dog in person yesterday...I'm now strongly leaning towards GSD/border collie mix since I've met her in person. She is narrower than she looked in the picture. She's EXTREMELY prey driven. She's also, unfortunately, pretty reactive to other dogs. I'm not too happy with the rescue they adopted from - on "paper" this dog should never have been adopted out to my parents. Thankfully they have a decent support network with skills to help them, and I'm hoping she will be "workable" and able to make enough progress to be able to take walks, etc....but I hate seeing this kind of stuff - it's becoming far too common with too many rescues. Not nearly enough behavioral screening, not properly matching dogs to the right homes....argh. It just really irks me. Plus, this dog isn't really at all suited to their lifestyle (again "on paper") - thankfully, they are reasonably willing to "step it up" and put in the work, but....not the type of adolescent that should have been placed with them. I'm not taking all the responsibility off them - I wish they had put in some kind of work to figure out what they needed in a dog and what was a good fit, but....as pretty average pet owners, this is what happens far too often.

RAT FACT...found in a Dr. Jordan Peterson video:
- all rats play fight, to teach proper tribe boundaries & needed affection
- but the King/stronger rats will let the weaker rats Win some of the games
- 30% of the time, Looser Rat has to Win or the serious teaching play would eventually stop
- and the younger rats would grow up // without rat social skills of hierarchy & group balance...be physically damaged and die off

Hi John, I was looking at Milwaukee PackOut tool boxes, the other day.
- car followed me in and asked me, if he just saw my back wheels turn to the side ?
- pretty cool, and we started talking

- headed to Popeye Chicken, and in the parking lot...2 young men, was running up to my rear bumper
- in my rear view mirror, I recognized the young mechanic...he did an oil change on RubyRed, a few weeks earlier
- and had to show his best friend, my truck
- I told the kid to hop in and start it up...reviewing the 4ws features
- they build mud trucks, and mechanic very sharp plus a darn good welder
- man was the guy stoked...sitting in my Silverado and crawling underneath it

I've never had so much fun with a truck...owned them for 30-35 years, starting with the square bodies.

Here is one of the pizzas made yesterday - I would have like to have left it on a bit more but was worried the bottom would get over done....I always have trouble with heat on the bottom. I have 2 pizza stones. This time I put an air gap in between the two.....

Also I did not put enough sauce on the one we ate. But still over all pretty good.

Bacon cheddar cheeseburger

Need to cook more of them for practice

Listening to music again

Boston - More Than A Feeling
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4QK8RxCAwo

I woke up this morning and the sun was gone
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
I closed my eyes and I slipped away

It's more than a feeling
More than a feeling
When I hear that old song they used to play
More than a feeling
And I begin dreaming
More than a feeling
'Til I see Mary Ann walk away
I see my Mary Ann walkin' away.....

They really had a number of good songs!!!
