Ken,

I bought it already installed that way! That's the way it was when I bought the property. If it ain't broke don't fix it, I say!

Mel,

I feel your pain! Someone needs to build me a barn!

Oh, and now they have 7 little puppies over there. That makes 12 assorted canines over there!

And, the horse over there! Looks like a skeleton. And, they don't shut their gate and the dogs, horse and goats just roam on down road, until one of the stupid folk over there, decide to notice!

I guess that was my bi-weekly vent session.

I'm finished now.

Imagine the gate being an issue with you! I figured you'd say, "You missed a spot, there, there and there"!

This is a chicken thread. Nobody said anything about gates...

And, before you go there, my truck is parked by the chicken coop!

X Factor's Ottavio and Bradley put 'chicken gate' behind them for chat with Rylan Clark | Daily Mail Online

This rag is not the typical paper I read, but I’ll stoop to anything to find juicy bits for this thread. I’ve never heard of these guys, but apparently they were X-Factor hopefuls??

Anyway, quoting the relevant parts:
"Talk quickly returned to the televised moment that Ottavio and Bradley fell out over raw chicken this weekend. ‘The chicken pushed me over the edge,’ said Ottavio.*‘We bicker quite a lot, the banter is like our energy drink.’

During the appearance, the pair confirmed that they have never been an item but admit that they argue like an old couple.

Proving that they've finally made amends, Ottavia agreed to eat some chicken that Bradley had cooked with a little lesson in the This Morning kitchen."

Ken,

I CAN feel your pain regarding rain and crops! In Kansas, every time a cut hay field in my travels was threatened, I 'd cringe. When I was still in Kansas, there were a couple of iffy years of hay prices. I got to know some good hay people that held hay for certain customers like me. I could only manage 15 square bales at a time in my Chevy. Came back when I was out of those. When my horse was transported to Oklahoma, they left me with a couple of bales of Kansas brome (or, was it just prairie grass?) hay. The horses where I am boarding mine, DOVE for it!

Regarding my gate being upside down; I don't care! And, even if it was right side up, the chickens just go THROUGH the fence or fly over it! An upside down gate is the least of my worries! Didn't someone here say that you were going to round up some peeps to give The Brod a fence raising and me a barn raising?

He's slinking around. Lurking. Will come out of the woods when everyone is in bed.

Then we all wake up, and get distracted before work!

Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite.

Shhhh! Everyone else!

Let him go to sleep and then we can talk about him!
LOL

Here is something for you late comers to ponder while we drive five miles to feed the horses;

I accidentally sat on Pepe this morning! He blended in with the computer chair. I hadn't even finished my first cup of coffee. I didn't see "nuthin"!
