Take notes, everyone.

TN, you've got me started re-reading Hobb's Farseer Trilogy (the Assassin books)--enjoying it with a fresh eye, so to speak; noticing things I hadn't before.

Agility class tonight. Gotta work on my ability to remember a course. HDD is doing well; mom, not so much.

So I've just had time to glance at this stuff real fast...I'll go back and read the longer, more thoughtful (I *think* there may be some thoughtful ones squeezed in there somewhere?) posts later. Bye now.

Hi mel! Hope you had a good day and the agility class went to perfection! And when you get home have a nice and kick your feet up and relax.

Who makes/programs the HMI (human machine interface - the display) do you know? Or just part of the rig? Ahh I relooked it says AG Leader - says have auto steer? so can let go of the wheel? hmm

Hey Moe, I heard the quickest way to a DT Mod's heart is thru/ through/ threw their feet (i.e. good foot massage)

That might score you a Permanent GOOTWSFC, which is worth more than even SP's mythical (200) GOOTWSFC's......

Wrong-O.

Worst gift you could give me is a massage/facial/pedicure. I DON'T like being touched except by people I'm VERY close to. And I hate to tell you guys but, well, even after 22,156 posts, none of you meet those requirements.

Now...the gift of a good book...

Yeah me also. There is only one LMT that I am comfortable with and we have been friends for decades.

BTW.... I think I once gifted you an interesting book: New York Times vintage anthology of short stories (I think. LOL)

YES!!!

You're in my good book....for now. (Dang it, I'm sorry. I forgot you don't like smileys, so I'll translate......Big Cheesy "I know I'm cute and clever" Smile)

I just did some research into get out of jail free cards and found these juicy tidbits:

1. In 1567, the prize in Britain's first lottery, commissioned by Queen Elizabeth I and Sir Frances Drake to raise funds for England's navy, included a kind of "get out of jail free card" which the winner could use to excuse any but the most serious crimes.

2. In 1967, James Robert Ringrose, one of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, presented a Get Out of Jail Free card to FBI agents after he was arrested.

3. The Patrolmen's Benevolent Association of the City of New York, a large NYPD union, gives out cards to officers to distribute to friends and family, giving them preferential treatment for minor offenses. The cards are commonly referred to as "get out of jail free" cards, and are sometimes sold on eBay.

AIC... One of my favorite bands ever!

RIP Layne. All the fabulous singers from the Seattle area that died too early. LS. Chris Cornell. Andrew Wood. Ok... Curt also.

Rough times, the grunge era in the Pacific NW.

STJ!

Edit to say: Not to forget Scott Weiland. Not from Seattle, but definitely part of the grunge scene

Who makes/programs the HMI (human machine interface - the display) do you know? Or just part of the rig? Ahh I relooked it says AG Leader - says have auto steer? so can let go of the wheel? hmm
Been very , very busy here , trying to catch up some , really behind here , but I did reply to Mel yesterday and lost the reply , said , token ran out , lol token ? I have been looking all morning where to put one in on the I pad so that don’t happpen any more , lol

Mel to answer your question , I was running around 12.3 mph spraying

Butt kisser lol it is a Ag Leader monitor , there are Many monitors out there , CASEIH , Johndeere , raven are the main ones , I love the ag leader , very user friendly and I use it in multiple equipment . Yes it has auto steer , but it’s not hooked up , needs a special antenna, only 14 grand ! When I brought this sprayer , I had 45 thousand of opinions and had to stop someplace , lol. It is not really hard to drive in between the rows , oh yeah , once in a while I will run over some corn one other thing , row spacing are 30 inches , tire size is 14.9 , so do the math on the window of error

Have a great day all

Funny little story from Spock's school visit for Read With Me today....

Was with second of three students at reading session in library. We were reading a new book with Spock calmly sitting between us.

New book was, "The Skunk With No Stripes" about "Little Skunk", a baby skunk born without white stripes, like his older brother and sister skunk had. His brother and sister skunk tease Little Skunk, saying he is not a real skunk, since he had no stripes. As the story progressed, Little Skunk went around the forest asking animals what he was. First visit was to a cat which little skunk thought he was since he also had fur and a bushy long tail. The cat said "No, Little Skunk you're not a cat since you don't purr" Well, Little Skunk went to several other small animals before reaching a squirrel.

Suddenly, I realized that if this little 3rd grade student starts saying the word "squirrel" when reading to Spock, he's liable to jump up to a full squirrel alert, look around and start barking! So, I advised my student to say "You Know Who" in place of the word "squirrel" so we could get through the book with no incidents.....

Worked out great and oh yeah....The story finishes when Little Skunk and his animal friends asked a Black Bear if he is a bear, since he was also black and furry. The large Bear gets angry at Little Skunk for asking and saying he's not a bear nor a skunk, since he has no stripes. The Bear says "If you are a skunk you'd be able to spray me, and you can't do that." Of course at that time, Little Skunk turns around and douses the big black bear with a stinky spray, at which the bear runs away.

Both Little Skunk's siblings and his new animal friends, including
"You Know Who", then exclaim that he is indeed a skunk!

Way to funny lol , I have heard Spock in action , hes takes his squirrels serious

Thanks for the great laugh SD
