He was very surprised.

So Red Baby:

1999 Silverado LS Step Side
5.3 L Vortec w/ 74,000 mile on it
Z/71 Off road and electronic 4x4 transfer case.
Heavy duty tow/haul package.
1 1/2" levlers to accommodate the large street tires.
DynaFlow stainless cat back dual exhaust.
K&N cold air intake
Hyperdyne performance chip.

Quick and rugged.

Only a couple of thousand made.

STJ!

Via mel...

"I always wonder if they can tell exactly what the other dog is saying"

Yeah McCoy can tell... Its: YAP YAP Snarl Snarl. I'm going to bite you, you big intact male dog. (Mommy, please don't really let me go after the big black and tan dog!)

As McCoy just stands there and looks at them. Kind of like... " Meh, whatever"...

Me... I am easy to read. I never say a word. But my expression of disgust and the head shake obviously reads: "Seriously?"

@ Beau...

Well, you were lucky to find someone like me who took that kind of care with RR and then willing to part with her. If I sold RB, my wife would be totally pissed. I took the Jeep to Montana for several weeks and she LOVED driving the Red Baby. When I got back the said: "Never sell that truck!"

LOL

Denny: Look up the word "masochist" HAH!

Beau's vintage RR has a 4 wheel turning option and is in perfect condition. My BB is like new and will do 0-60 in 5.3 seconds. Also, it will tow/haul way better than your poor puppy! It also has an MDS motor. When not under load and if I keep it at 78mph or below, it drops to 4 cylinders getting about 22mph. Woot!

Yea, Beau has remained good friends, with the former owner of RubyRed.
- and still send jokes back & forth, via text...few times a week

Back when I bought his rare Silverado, in January...a week later he told me, "what was
I thinking
"...just a weak moment, in time.
- he had a newer 2 door Jeep // but never was without a truck, and grew up on a farm
- a few weeks after the Sale, he went out and bought a 2015 GMC Sierra 4x4...regretting his recent Sell

Larry had to use some rare-magic powers, as I have often made vehicle purchases, practically out of thin air.
- people at work, was always amazed...what I could find // but an enjoyable hobby, is how I treat the process with good Karma
- "a man with a plan", and determined to find a nice truck (to be proud of)

You'll understand the madness, John !!
- I have unlimited patience, to find and buy specific old gems
- your single cab z71, now crossed off my wish-want-list...that's to Mrs4x4
Dam that Nancy, of yours !!

Somehow that reminds me of something...hmmm....

Hurricane Nadine 2012

She wandered around in the Atlantic, in a disorganized and ragged fashion, strengthened into a very weak category 1 hurricane three times, never hurt anyone and eventually degenerated into a trough of low pressure and just faded away--but she took her time doing that.

But she was just one of many in 2012--the third most active season on record:

The world is evolving, Frank.

I called a customer in Flower Mound, Texas yesterday. When my Mom and Dad moved brother and I to Texas back in the 80's, we were the newest in that subdivision. There was nothing there but the flower mound, one subdivision and a convenience store.

Now, it's chaos! Customer and I had a pleasant conversation about progress and somehow came to the conclusion that they will have to send the cows to Mars so they can eat!

That's my gripe and I am sticking to it!

Great photo TN - I like the expression on her face

Mila seemed to know what they were saying - the first bark and she joined in....I will have to watch later when she is not in the room

Took this video back in June and just uploaded it to YouTube, of Spock outside on a pretty foggy summer morning, after nightly rains.

This video conclusively proves several Dober theories put forth on DT:

1. Dobermans look like Dorks when drinking water from pools...

2. Male Dobermans dribble 50% of all water drunk onto floor or deck.

Male Doberman Drinking Study

Even though he's Dorky, Mr. Spocko is my Dober Buddy and companion:
