Surprised you do not know the term "shotgun" a beer!
You punch a large hole in the bottom and place your mouth over and then pull the tab...and its gone!

Your not allowed to drink beer on East coast beaches this was the safest way to keep your blood alcohol content up without Johny Long ruining your day!

Meghan Lindholm--her earlier pieces were written under that name (her real name) and then she used the pseudonym Robin Hobbs.
I have read her Robin Hobbs books, and am just now starting on her (earlier) Meghan Lindholm books (Wizard of the Pigeons was published under this name).

https://www.barnesandnoble.com/blog/...th-robin-hobb/

(incidentally, the Fitz and the Fool Trilogy, mentioned in this article, is now finished; the Soldier Son trilogy is NOT set in the same world as the rest and Fitz's "dog" [when he was an adult] is a wolf--which brings a much more interesting perspective to the stories than a dog would.)

For LadyDi

Once upon a time there was a wizard who lived in Seattle. He liked to sit in the park and feed the pigeons. One day, the pigeons pooped all over his shiny wizard hat so he waved his wand and turned them into pigeon pies, which he fed to the homeless.

The end.

Nothing to worry about, holding Kenny's beer.

He only does 25 MPH, comes to a complete stop at stop signs and waits until it's his turn to travel the one lane road to his destination. He even knows his numbers. Lane 1 is, most of the time, better than lane 2. And, you get a better look at the purty girl running the scale house! Right Kenny?

You are in safe hands.

Better hold on to Kenny's beer until after he blasts through stop signs and hauls ass on a residential road, on the way home.

You can give his beer back to him when he has backed in (merely missing a silo) and removed the key.

I give up!

Going to bed.

100 calls a day wear a night owl OUT!

Half of them don't pertain to our department.

Sweet dreams, All!
