Hey Mod , you asked about what kind of sewing that MC does , well she will not reply on it , it’s against league rules on here .

BUT I can She makes custom made dog coats and sweaters. You can check out some of her handy work at this tread , Miley's Mail Days!

And also in this months calendar contest , Doberman super model — Mocha is sporting a camouflage coat , she is already for deer hunting season in TN

Awww, Doc, thanks. Like Doc said, I won't say too much, since we have a rule here about "no self-advertising", but the regulars around here know that I run a small business, making dog coats I am VERY busy during most of the year. I get a bit of a break during the summer, but it's already starting to pick up again! Talking about sewing isn't really "advertising" but I do have to be a little careful, just so I don't break the forum rules

Walk in the direction of - hmm forget...I relearn each time or just do it right after time....walk in correct direction to reduce the stuff hitting you even with the guard on.
Watch for cables and such like Cable TV boxes or old phone lines if still have those.

How thick are the weeds -
Watch deciduous or heavy stuff

I also have started using weed cutter grass whip. Has a serrated on both sides of an angled blade at end of a short-ish wood handle. Mechanical - swing it back and forth to cut through the weeds. But not A sling blade or kaiser blade

Just got back from my annual eye examination - I have some worrisome signs of glaucoma so Dr. wants to see me once a year. Good news, nothing has changed in the 3 years he has monitored. After next year, I can go to 2 years....but it is a bit hard on the eyes even with lights off in the room.

Ugh... I hate eye $h*t. I had a rapid onset of Cataracts... In 2 years I went from having basically perfect vision to being legally blind. I was told by my eye surgeon that I could not drive. Heck I could not recognize a person from across the room!

After a bunch of pre-op hoopla... two 15 minute surgeries (a few months apart) and my vision is as good as it has ever has been. I do wear corrective glasses for reading, although I can do without them if necessary.

The best part? Medicare paid for it!

When I asked about the cause, I was told it was probably two-fold:

Genetics and the fact that I had spent so much time at high elevation in full sun with inadequate eye/UV protection (sunglasses LOL).

STJ!

In my area “fall” is when you stop having to mow the grass weekly and then all of a sudden not having to mow the grass at all.
Oh.....yeah.......
Starting next week I am in training.......October is our yearly trip to the mountains.....Coopers Rock........looking forward to seeing colors “in a natural state”..........and hopefully some cooler temps.
So whats everyone up to this weekend.........??? Hmmmmmmmmm
We think Scott has a torn rotator cuff.......so he is resting in the area of yard work.......so this weekend he is the supervisor and I am the lawn mower .......but I also have to be the weed wacker........never ran the wacker before.........hummmm............well always willing to learn new things ..........I will not be a cry baby and run inside the house like YKW...............anyone have wacker wisdom that I need to know in advance.......?????
That would be called Summer here. Albeit, the end. We have to start mowing again in Fall. I say "we", but he won't let me drive it yet, so he's buzzing around having all the fun. He's hogging it!

LOL

You are going to be hurting after the weed wacking! You are going to have to hold your vodka two handed to drink it!

I like this pic!

She's so pretty and wasn't she camera shy when we first met? Or, were you just a rookie with a camera?

I liked the bridge, path and camouflaged coat, "made by meadowcat".

Nice pic!

Have a safe trip my BHB#1!

Watch out for bears and mountain lions! Yeah, I know you will be packing.

How long do we have to talk about you behind your back?
