In my humble opinion every day should be a party.

I am sick of people nickle and dime-ing me to death!

Homey don't play that!
We had a shift supervisor at work, that was...
- that looked to good, for his own good
- fit / tall / dark / and handsome
- and heading into marriage #2

So one day, out on the floor...he asked Beau:
- "want to buy my stag & doe tickets
- for a Friday night, in a rural community center room
" ?

>>
>>
>>

Little background - he cheated on 1st wife, he cheated with a few girls on the off shift and he was marring a cute blonde (this time)...her 1st time, to the alter.
- he even had clothed lap dances, with a few of the ladies at work...sitting at his work computer (in midnight shift)

>>
>>
>>

So I asked the foreman, how much are the tickets...$25/pair, was the response.

Larry said
- "Sorry bud, but you will be cheating on this lovely girl...before the first year is up".
- and he replied with only a smirk
Further I said...
- 'it will lead to a divorce #2 / and I can't contribute to your stag & doe fund, and encourage you to make another marriage mistake (in your wandering way of life)"

PS - guy wasn't married for a full year, when new wife found out...of his recent discretion's.

^^ Now that is how PapaBear...avoids buying charity tickets // a Priceless rejection.
- Homey don't play that !

Drywall finishing (daily, for a week) and driving to the opposite side of the next city...done wore Larry out today.
- started a week ago Saturday / back tomorrow
- and with JJ on Sunday, doing TV mantle wall / after cedar ceiling in closet finished

Physical tole on old body - hand sanding / controlled mudding / clean tools perfectly clean.
- over & over & over again...caught up with me
- got home, and had to take a nappy (on couch)

Can't keep a good man down...all rested now.

Wondering if you Indiana folks are planning to get any of Barry's rain? Or is it too soon to think ahead??

We're supposed to be in the 90's (low end) all week. With no A/C, that gets rather warm in the house and we may get hotter yet before fall comes (usually we have a week of mid to upper 90's.) This is generally our hottest time of the year though. Watering, watering, trying to keep the grass, well, not green exactly, but not brown and crispy either. With an average yearly precip of only about 16.5 inches, when temps reach into the 90's, it gets a little baked looking in mid summer.

Mel , there not sure of the track yet for us , a day ago , it was going to track right over us , last night they had it a little north , it’s moving so slow . The funny thing , so far , they are not posting up much rain for us if Barry does hit us .

No A/C ? That’s just not right poor dog dog !

Fortunately it drops down into the 50's or very low 60's most nights, so you can get the house cool(ish) enough to get you through til mid-afternoon. The ground floor is quite livable, and the basement stays cool; it's just the top floor/bedrooms that get uncomfortable. And you adjust your ambient temperature expectations and your activity level accordingly to stay comfortable.

DogDog refuses to sleep in my room--I have no idea why??? The cat, unfortunately, loves to be there at night. He doesn't sleep though, he just spends his time climbing on furniture knocking things off, scratching his way up to the window sill and climbing through the blinds to look out the open window. Actually, he only does that intermittently. He gives you just enough time with no noise/activity to start to drift off to sleep before starting it up again. So the door stays closed, which interferes with summertime air flow unfortunately. The ceiling fans do help though.

No A/C ? That’s just not right poor dog dog !
Ma has AC. She's just to cheap to use it!

I get it, though!

I was pissed off when we had to turn the AC on.

I try to drag it out until I have no choice!

When I can't get my makeup on in the morning, that's a problem.

What color leg band would you like, Aunt B?

Dark blue please-do you have any green or blue egg layers left? If you do and it's a green girl you could make the leg band dark green.

Thanks for asking--I think Pork chop sounds like a great name--brings back great memories...

From the “ Not right “ department

A husband and wife who worked for the circus went to an adoption agency. The social workers there raised doubts about their suitability.
The couple then produced photos of their 50 foot motor home, which was clean and well maintained and equipped with a beautiful nursery.

The social workers then raised concerns about the education a child would receive while in the couple's care. "We've arranged for a full-time tutor who will teach the child all the usual subjects along with French, Mandarin, and computer skills.

Then the social workers expressed concern about a child being raised in a circus environment. "Our nanny will be a certified expert in pediatric care, welfare, and diet."

The social workers were finally satisfied. They asked, "What age child are you hoping to adopt?"

"It doesn't really matter...... as long as the kid fits in the cannon

It's amazing how many people call their pet pig Pork Chop.

If it's a chicken though, you probably ought to call it Drumstick. Or maybe Buffalo Wing.
