They are all at that difficult age/stage.

Molting.

Takes a minute for them to get into their glory days.

They are only 5-6 weeks old.

Geesh!

This is not to say that people (ahem...me) have not done so. But there is definite risk. I suspect your health insurance has a 24 hour nurse line you can call for free if you want to check stuff like that, or you could also call the pharmacist that you use for any prescriptions you take.
See Kenny--that's why I suggested asking your pharmacist before you tried the one I told you about--I don't think it's an NSAID but I think you aren't supposed to take it with NSAID's

I don't take most NSAID's; ibuprofen (or Motrin) naproxen (Aleve)
--the naproxen because it didn't seem to do anything at all and the ibuprofen because even taking it exactly as prescribed it eats holes in my stomach--that cure is worse tan he cause. It also explains why I am taking gabapentin and aspirin--gives the doc's and pharmacists the creeps but I don't (knock on wood) have a problem with that combination.

But LadyDi is right--it's time to see your doctor about this neck thing--you may need stronger drugs or they need to check and see if you've slipped a disc up in the cervical area (maybe you have wobblers...)

And speaking of "birds of a feather..." I just saw a short segment of the flamingo rescue going on in South Africa of a couple of thousand eggs when all water dried up in some big areas where flamingos normally nest, lay eggs and raise their young. It was so dry the was no water, so no food and everything that usually summered in the area had to abandon it. Rescuers went in and gathered up as many eggs as they could, took them back to some centers they had put together, hatched the eggs that were still viable, helping some emerging chicks who were so weak they couldn't actually break out of the shells (something that would not normally be done and then fed them until they were big enough to turn loose in the flocks that had moved out for water and food. Nestling flamingos seem to be a lot smarter that baby checks--and rather more attractive.

MMMMMhad leftover pork chops and scalloped potatoes for breakfast--excellent!.
