I have no clue what order NoBite is going to post the pics, but there is a pic of my Dry Pond, Dominic and Princess Lily Belle. One pic of the neighbors DD's (well, at least 2 of the A-holes). The black Dane pup seems okay. I hope NB blows that pic up, so you can actually see their partial pack of dogs. But, if not, you can at least see I take pride in my property and the neighbors don't.

Groov'in Defined:
Slang A settled routine: got into the groove of a nine-to-five job. 4. Slang A situation or an activity that one enjoys or to which one is especially well suited: found his groove playing bass in a trio.

Yep ! Sent the last 2 out this morning - Drivers are as happy as I am ! cold and snow here starting late Sat night - no fun to play out in that loading .

Boy I'm tried ! I thought ----- " Thought " I would lay down a second a little bit ago - I'm pretty sure I went to sleep for say 2 minutes - then the you know who 2 came running out and jumped on the bed and gave me a few dozen licks - then I got them to lay down for say -- 2 minutes then a damn National Guard Chopper flew over and they had to go chase it off ! So Ken said blank it and got up : )

No rest for the weary.....LOL

Well this week we scheduled a date to have our house tented for termites..........so for 1400 square feet ......$1650 plus $100 for doing the job on the weekend......plus another $500 to stay in a hotel down the road.....plus meals out..........so $2500 roughly......ugg......
but those little bugs swarmed last year ........they will eat away at your house all year long.....this is the time of year when the lover termites swarm ......

The gas will kill everything except the termites eggs........baby termites cannot survive their first 90 days without adult termites to take care of them.......so they will also die...........

They live sorta like ants..... everyone has a job.............and so do I and it is to KILL them !!!!!!

In Florida we average doing this tenting process about every 10 years or so..........not to much work........you have to remove anything that you would ingest .......

ABTLLHH...I had never heard of Crocosmia, so I looked it up. Lovely. It looks like some varieties may be hardy enough for us?? Does it need a lot of water, wet feet or rich soil? Because it looks like it might. And those would be no goes for us.

Crocosmia is listed under Tritonia in some catalogs--or Montbretia--it's an old one of the South African imports--very popular at one time and sometimes you see virtual hedges of the stuff in late summer when it blooms at old houses. I like it a lot--it's striking brilliant red or red orange (some orange varieties )blooms and dark green almost shiny foliage. Blooms like freesia to which it's related--long arching stems with flowers most of the length. I suspect the most common variety survive as a perennials--they are drought resistant and the garden books say mulch heavily in cold winter areas. Also say or lift corms and store for winter like gladiolas (to which they are also related)--fat chance with me--if it's a bulb, corm or rhizome and it doesn't survive winter I'm not growing it. I know it naturalizes well in the Columbia Gorge which has colder winters than the west side of the mountains it cuts through.

Your offer of little iris (es?) sounds tempting. I think this year though, I'm going to go in sorta big with a lot of different colors and see how they come out. Most of what we have was basically left by the last owner and most of them are that common sorta brown or light purple faded bearded....which are about my least favorite colors. They always look like the flowers are starting to fade and die off to me.
Let me know if you ever want some small stuff. The next time I break up the tall bearded bed I'll send you some of my tall two tone dark blue/lighter blue and some of the light lavender (believe me--that one doesn't look faded and in the early morning on a sunny day in full bloom they tend to look almost fluorescent lavender) tall guys. I also have in intermediate size with big blossoms in solid dark purple--if only I had known when I was dividing the big bed I gave away tons of viable starts of those three. The Japanese iris is slow to spread and only has to be divided every five or 6 years (so they say) so I'm years away from being able to share that one.

And I had no trouble deciphering your run-on because I kinda think the same way. I always get my modifying clauses next to wrong part of the sentence. I knew what you were trying to say, too, I think.

Anyway, a little challenge brightens up the day.
LOL--you have to think in run-on sentences to manage to figure them out...

So they've upgraded our coming storm. A couple of inches tomorrow, up to 7 tomorrow night. I don't know what we'll be passing on to you middle of the country guys, but.....

I guess I ought to go grocery shopping tonight.

I HATE shopping, especially grocery shopping. Someone say something to make me go.
You are going to get really pissy when there is no food in the house and there is schitty weather and you are hungry!

I had to go get my own beer.

Mister refused!

Those are cool/unusual/weird, but they're too tall for me. Still they do look more stable that normal high-heeled shoes are.

Is the white something with the chicken foot on the edge of the picture another pair of shoes??
If its white / probably an SP chicken...:grin2:...that the Fox missed.
