Chick Story.

Larry passed out all sprawled out, with her beak straight down in the wood shavings.

Reminded me, yet, once again of Big Bird!

They all crack me up. They pass out whenever and where ever. They all have narcolepsy.

LMAO

Beau?

I wasn't ignoring BabyBear. I was merely sharing with with, Cuz.

Then I will scratch her eyes out!

I LIKE my Big Bird Larry Updates - he is the "special" one.
- SP, you describe his/her or my demeanor...perfectly

I think she needs to be kept, as an inside the house prized chicken.
- and get him or she, a very own YouTube channel // and FB post to

BabyBear taking Papa out on Sunday, for Fathers Day golfing & steak dinner.
- I will fill him in on SP & cuz LDi antics...he will get a big grin, I'm sure

Yep - JJ takes a good picture to // another hottie, I tell him his playful smile..."is a lure

- he like Papa jokes, and I get a big smile/laugh out of him

End of July Announcement - JJ's father is from Jamaica, a big dude that was a professional boxes, in youth.
- his father gets about 100 family & friends together, for a "pig roast" party
- Andrew & Dad, is invited by JJ...it will be a blast // lot of tradesman there
- he said, Andrew & Larry will be a big hit there...as we know how to mingle & party on

Plus JJ wants Larry to share one of the 1st jokes, I played on him...that day.
- Beau told him..."I also speak Jamaican" and followed up with "YEA-MON"
- I had him pissing himself laughing with my German accent, turned into my butchered Jamaican slant // JJ had me repeat it, many times...so funny !!

I know this is going to sound crazy, But.

After seeing the rough out of any room and then seeing it start getting enclosed with sheet rock, bugs me. I guess I get claustrophobic wondering where the open floor plan went? No offense to what you and Andrew are doing. Awesome work! Just as my Dad does.

My house has been added onto and the exterior windows stayed where they were. From the mud room I can see into the dining room, the laundry room, kitchen and Ma's room!

Mister is so chomping at the bit to get rid of those windows.

No, No, No!

I bought this place, for the most part, for the acreage. Walking in the back door (which is used as the front door) reminded me of my Grandparents house. Freaking SOLD before I saw the rest of the house!

Mister ain't touching my "freaky" windows unless he wants to pay the house payment.

Denny has spoken!

The basement room lost a stupid corner closet / that took 30" off the TV wall and made a 1/3 of the room narrow...so it was ripped out completely.

The added back wall closet (+3 ft. deep), shortened a long room / added 3x the closet space / hit the ugly panel / and a drop cedar ceiling, allows future Freon Line, to be easily routed, without cutting the original dry wall'ed ceiling.
- open floor plan still
- wider & shorter / more room practicality & comfort achieved
- my cell phone camera, is not capable of taking the whole picture of the room scale
- trust me, Papa design changes work...Larry has spoken!

THERE - take that SP !!

Ma came up with this idea! She thinks the "Rock Star" Black Polish is Di!

I am going to give the chicks some growing time to be identifiable before we start squabbling over names. Larry stood out because, the chick reminded me of Big Bird, Larry Byrd and our good friend Larry.

Daddio,

You want to see what the 3 I have left to name, that will be easily identified, before you all squabble over getting a chick named after you.

Crap! Didn't even notice no one was jockeying into position to have a chick named after them!

My Bad!

I can't take it Beau!

TN might understand.

There has to be more than one way out of a basement.

I love Kansas basements! Many ways out if there was a catastrophe. Oklahoma? You just put yourself in your own grave.

I get the room scale you are talking about. The pics did close in on me a bit.

My Dad has done plenty of renos. Hated it when he finally fenced my roller rink in.

2 ways out of sons Basement....
- climb out the one basement window / and we left an egress escape, on the cedar deck build...not obstructing the window well...for safety options
- or just walk up the stairs, at the opposite end of the basement
- side wall in a condo, are shared by neighbors...so no doorways there

Had enough yet SP...TN not gonna fight, weak battles you choose to start !!
- our projects get well thought out (by Papa knows best) // not winging nothing

LDi nice try on "baiting the bait'er" // questioning my new found, special power strength.

BUT - other dudes undies, are not on the B67 radar...ever.
- why pick on AJ or Doc?...some things are best left unknown

NOW - I can say, "you have 2 pairs of seductive lacy ones, in the top dresser drawer".
- that quickly come out, for them special Scott occasions like when you want, a
gas generator (for example)

Beau still got it !!

Wrong again............gave up those in 1974.......along with the burning of the bra..........

Funny storey......last job Scott and I worked at together...there was this chick we would joke around with in our office ......Scott proclaimed her dress was quite sheer .........she argued and in response she dared Scott to guess the color of her underwear.......he replied......"you're not wearing any underwear".......her face .....LOL ...red as a beet........PRICELESS.......off to the ladies room she went...........funny funny day.........she never dared him again.........at least not to my knowledge..........

So,I'm once again far, far behind on the CT--but I'll leave you with the weather report.

Kenny--it was 60 degrees here in lovely Portland by the Pacific (as opposed to the one by the Atlantic). At 6:00am (and probably earlier but I wasn't alive earlier or even at 6:00am.

The sky was blue, no clouds, the late night weather forecaster on CBS (who is clearly demented) says we can expect wonderful summer weather for the next two days. Tuesday's high is supposed to be 97 degrees and Wednesday's high is supposed to top out at 96 degrees. After that it drops back down to the mid 80's. Thank heavens.

Toad the old says he's not so fond of really hot weather these days. ABTLH is definetly able to do without 90 degree high's.

Now, I'm going out to plan the reminder of the bulbs for late summer flowers so that I can close the house up before it gets too hot (Midwest airconditioning at it's finest I tell you.

Bye for now

ABTLLHH

33 shots done! I think my cold is taking a turn for the better, so life is improving in the MC household

Nice walk last night with the dogs, rain on the way today and maybe later this week, too. Sypha gets to play K9 ABC Games nosework on Friday. The weather is still supposed to be reasonable temps this week, so I'm happy.

Generally just enjoying summer right now, being lazy, enjoying not sewing quite so much....
