LaDi, From your post above, I gather your arms resemble your infamous leg picture posted, a while back?

Do you grow bougainvillea? We have 2 plants in pots, they are so beautiful, wish it was warm enough year round to put them in the ground here.
Beau saved 80% of the Beech Tree plot, for Andrew's visit.

Good morning all ! Nice shower this morning - so far just about a half - good for the just planted crops : ))

As far as car - truck brands - Started out with Chevy's - had a 69 - 3/4 with a stick and 6 cylinder - that was a great pickup - then a 74 - 3/4 - 4x4 - 350 --- then a 79 Chevy - 4x4 350 - with a 400 tranny - funny thing about the 79 and 400 tranny - I ordered that truck - dealer told me that I could NOT get the 400 in it - truck came in and it had it in it ! Dealer told me that the truck had been made in Canada and it was at the end of that model run and that's all they had to put in it was the 400 tranny - lol

The Chevys at that time had one big problem in the 4x4 's - they pulled off the frontends in 2 wheel drive and had a smaller front drive shaft yoke - WHY ??? I had a big 5th wheel I pulled with that truck and 2 times - I threw the front driveshaft out and on to the road ! No chit ! I heard it break with a large bang - truck stopped pulling - got out and looked and there the shaft laid on the road ! POS !! Would lock it into 4x4 and drove like that till I could fix it .

Got tried of that POS and went to Indy and had a new front drive shaft made - very heavy duty and that fixed the problem !

Had a brand new Suburban - 454 in it - took it to FLA for a vacation less than 1,000 miles on it - on the way back - lost the Alternator - pulley was bad and threw the belt off at 11:30 at night - a hour North of Atlanta - Believe it was near Clarksville - Wrecker just happened by and stopped - Bill was the drivers name - he hooked us up and took the truck to a GMC dealer and then took us to a motel where we stayed till Monday- waiting for a new Alternator - They were the best people we have ever dealt with ! They took good care of us!

2 Chevy -- 1 a full size Blazer and then a Full size Tahoe - both a POS ! Widows leaked and they could not fix them - carpet got to smelling !

2 Dodges - 1 a 3/4 -- 4x4 with a Cummins in it - that Motor could pull a sick Whore out of bed ! then a 1 ton Dully with a V-10 gasser in it ! That truck would pull anything -- the bad problem - well we pulled a 30 foot race trailer with it and going into a stiff head wind it would only get 3 to 4 mpg !

Fords - many ! 2 - 4 door - 4x4 Dually 1 tons - 2 with the IH Diesel's - 7.3 - Greatest motors Ford put in them - then the last one - 2008 with the 6.4 was a POS - I never liked that truck from day one !!! Had a 34 foot 5th wheel - it was scary pulling it with that truck !!!!

Also the 2008 was our car - Wife loved driving them all : )

1 Ford - 350-- 4x4 with single tires -- 2 door - work truck - Great truck !!! Great farm truck !

Now have a Ford 150 4x4 - 4 door - fun truck to drive ! Great to run parts - rides good but for me - it's really to light of rig - Miss my 2002 Ford Dually !!!

Wife has a New 2018 Chevy Tahoe - Rides nice - nice everything - That is what she wanted --- So -- that's what she got - Guess she had forgot about the other 2 she had - had

BTW- Have any of you checked the sticker on a new Dually ?? WOW !

We had our usual middle TN weather...as of Wednesday night, the forecast was: 80% chance of rain Thursday, 100% Friday, 90% Saturday, 90% Sunday, 80% Monday, with locally heavy rainfalls between 2-4 inches expected over that period. Thursday, nada. Friday, it rained for a few hours in the morning. Saturday we had blue skies and sunshine. They're still sticking to it, today is 80% chance with locally heavy rainfall. LOL

Yep, raining and thundering here. Man, I am getting so tired of this.

Some local roads, which luckily I don't use, have washed out.

Kenny, sounds like you got a bit of bad luck with the GMs. Glad wifey poo didn't lose faith!

Cuz.....what does this mean....is rooster stalking our chicks........do tell........need to know as I am ordering chickens real soon......coming from New Zealand......best chicks in the world.......they are all purple and white spotted chickens...extremely rare. Probably gonna be much better than your chicks.....but I understand your desire to improve your chicks in every way. Mine have better poop shoots so no need to play Mama poop scooper detail with my city chicks. Anyway what else is happening.....

How can they get the same day forecast wrong 4 days in a row? It boggles the mind.

It has been a long time since i have had a lazy Sunday , woke up , had a little breakfast and crashed again till 3:00 pm , and have no guilt.
I was up late last night setting up a new fish tank. A 200g. with lots of plumbing. This morning found no leaks. nIt will take about 10 more days to complete the set up and to transfer the crew over. I think they will be very happy i know i am!

Awww TN---you don't really want an answer there do you? (Guess you do or you wouldn't have asked the question...)

Soooo--geeze, it's kind of in the name--you know--like it's a FORD--can't remember what the FO stands for but a VW mechanic used to claim that the RD stood for "REALLY DEAD"...

My stepdad had Chev's--they were all work (as in delivery trucks for his mattress business) Several times, over the years a friend of his who had a Ford dealership talked him into trying out one of the Ford trucks when my stepdad was thinking about a new truck--he always claimed the Fords all died--we though he was kidding but I got stuck going out on one of these test drives with him--I don't think we even got 2 miles from the dealership and the dadratted thing died and could not be coaxed back to life. His Chev's rattled and banged and sucked gas but they always got there and back--but he and my mother came down to Los Angeles to visit me at one point and I left my VW bug for them to drive. I watched them leave (shouldn't have done that--about gave me a coronary)--he went to turn a corner and practically did a donut--nothing like driving biggish trucks for years and years to give you a warped idea of turning radius.

My mother said that by the time they got where they were going he had the hang of the steering and was having a good ol' time. And when they got back to Washington State the first thing he did was try to talk my mother out of her Chev Impala convertible (it didn't work--she loved that car and wasn't going to give it up for anything...) He really wanted to buy her a VW--my stepdad--the dyed in the wool Chev fancier.
