The bunch of warped individuals I hang out here with...

You all add something special to my day, everyday!

Hey!

I had to challenge a California dude in a Dodge Grand Caravan, off the start at a light this evening. He was driving like one of them crazy Californians. Hurry up and stop!

Figured he was going to drive maniacally at the next stop light, as well. He didn't. He was finishing his text message. He got the hint at the third light, because he took off like a Californian. I wasn't even putting the pedal to the metal and he decided to play.

Game on!

He gave it a try! I gave him a head start and as I caught him, he was giving Terre and I a thumbs up and a big "Andrew" grin at us!

Then he had to turn into a subdivision,.

CP and I were making up all kinds of scenarios about how it was going to go down when he got home to his wife.

Terre said something about him being all bowed up and cocky when he gets home and tell his wife he's still got it! Two chicks flirted with me.

My thought was, he's gonna get his ass kicked when he comes home and tells the wife her grocery getter has a blown engine.

We had a fun ride home from work!

LOL

Wish you all could have been there!

LMAO

Daddio?

Anything SP and Di contribute to this thread to support Ma, is contribution.

Plus, Di hasn't won the lotto yet so we can start buying votes!

We were wearing our Ma out?

I was skimming the latest scuttlebutt and saw the picture of Ma passed out, yet once again. She even had Trip and Harry DogDog passed out, as well.

Great interview, Doc, too bad your Dobes couldn't be on camera, too!

You got the shades down, but the stash needs a bit more work to complete the image! ....

The hazards of medical dictation:

I slashed open my knuckle on the corner of a kitchen cabinet door and went in to get it bandaged because I wasn't sure whether it would need stitches (I have old skin.) The doctor said it was too late for stitches, so he steri-stripped it instead. Now a week later it's opened up again. Oh well...so I'll have a scar (when it eventually decides to heal.)

Anyway, somehow or other this ended up on my computerized record:

"Patient notes he does store port in the kitchen on a clean surface and cleaned it well afterwards."

Sent the comment to my brother (who is a retired doctor) for chuckles and got this back:

"Smart idea to clean up all that stored port...never know when the social worker may arrive."

None of us can figure out exactly what the doctor said when he dictated the thing.

Really the interview was a disappointment to me - Steph asked lots of questions on the impact of this - which I covered - I think pretty well - She was there for a hour and a half - I guess what they wanted was just to say it was wet : )

At the end of our interviews - she asked is there anything you would like the public to know - all 3 of us - stressed for drivers to be careful driving and to be patient with us moving equipment down the road as will we be working almost non stop to get the planting done - She never said a word about that : ((

SD - I agree - I will start on the stash today

SP - back at yeah

LD - a double for you and your nice words

Steph said she would be back in June for the field day

Looks like we may get some more rain today and tomorrow

Any news on Aunt B ?? Hope she is OK

MC - How are you doing ?

Better get

Doc

The doctor said it was too late for stitches, so he steri-stripped it instead.

Your brother is on to something....

Simple answer- Big Brother medical care system at work.....

Doctor checked out your social media posts and found this picture:

Picture indicated following possible issues:

1. Excessive "vino de porto" consumption indicated, causing midday loss of consciousness.

2. Animal abuse - Obvious neglect of pets, who appear to be passed out from hunger, awaiting caretaker to feed them.

3. Possible degenerative mental state- Choice of socks indicates a break with reality and retreat into a self fantasy world.

Glossary of Medical Code Phrases:

"Stored Port in Kitchen" = Large on hand booze inventory

"On a Clean Surface" = Abused Substances well hidden

"Cleaned it Well Afterwards" = Before office exam, subject purged substances from body, presenting no abnormal health issues.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Seriously, whenever the question on medical exam is asked about alcohol consumption, always state: "Moderate, 3/week" or you'll be red flagged...

Hope your knuckle gets healed quickly...

Oh, so now it's "Steph" and not "Ms. Wade"

(Remember, we pickup on everything here on CT....)

That's the way it always is with TV news- 2 hours of interviews edited to two 15-second sound bites.

If you would have said "We're short on illegals this year cause they're all applying for asylum at border..." that would have made the cut- maybe even local and national headline sound bites....
