That's to funny TN -- We always got rain and storms here - Then Indy built the First Dome Stadium - The Hoosier dome - then the rain did what it is doing in your area - lol We started calling it the Hoosier dome effect

BTW TN - Love the calendar photo of Mocha and her little pillow

Oh my word, how could that have happened?

My daughter runs a blog mostly aimed at her fellow world of warcraft players with her own story writing (and some inside jokes ) She also illustrates and draws comics on it...I thought this page fit us and our weather complaints at the moment:

Click on the comic to make it big and easier to read.

I'm happy to report the dome is still intact. Earlier on the radar there was a good line of green, yellow and some red headed right for us...what did we end up getting? Some light rain which lasted for maybe an hour. Which means Mocha and I can get our hike on tomorrow morning

Kinda interesting if you're a map nerd like me:

"This map shows the US really has 11 separate 'nations' with entirely different cultures

In his fourth book, "American Nations: A History of the Eleven Rival Regional Cultures in North America," award-winning author Colin Woodard identifies 11 distinct cultures that have historically divided the US."

From:
https://amp.businessinsider.com/the-...-states-2015-7

Not so sure bout his descriptions of the different cultures, but I've lived in 6 of these countries. How about you guys?

Good Evening all!
I did a very bad thing today!
I was backing my truck out (chevy) and ran over my Smoochie. I do not know how it happened! He is a expert at avoiding these kind of things! I had much going on today and was not thinking of the little guy even though i was parked in his spot.
I knew i ran over something as i pulled out but my heart sank when i realized what it was.

It is still early but i think he is going to be ok. I must have run over his hind quarters. The pics revealed no broken bones and no internal issues of a major kind have showed. His spine looks fair! He can walk but is hunching a bit and so far i am feeling a little fortunate for him.
Some healing vibes sent his way would be much appreciated!

Day3 Basement Reno build - new closet wall & ceiling bulk head.
- part 1 of 2...Sunday 6.0 hrs. // 9 am to 3 pm
- earlier post #17767, was later photos, in day / so part 2 of 2 shown before

One task completed - new closet ceiling framed...to support cedar planks.
- as Andrew & Dad returns, with additional building supplies

Back from Copps Buildall trip, 2x3" spruce studs / BabyBear flexing some youth muscle.
- wood will be going through, the basement window

A man cave takes some real "man tools"...Sawzall in use, w/bi-metal blade (cuts off wood & nails).
- closed getting a 3 ft. door opening

Little Rework - using some "persuasion-grunt-force" to get the 3-1/4" nail out...fix angle of framing nail.

Admiration Time - Finished the new closet wall build (framing) & now cleanup & done.

Poor little guy!
Sending healing thoughts to him, and guilt-relieving ones to dad. I hope his recovery is uneventful.

LOL!

That sounds like a bad case of Seasonal Affective Disorder, to me!

I have the worst case of SAD ever!

It's too cold, rainy, windy, gotta mow, too much snow, not enough light, and the list goes on, to go to work!
