No Mel...

Just go out and buy an external hard drive. My wife backs everything up many ways, primarily for business, but that is the only thing she really trusts. She does it daily. Yeah.. The Cloud is easy, but what happened if that gets "disappeared?" The HD is always there and retrievable.

I PROBABLY should not post this up - But will - Back when I was around 17 or 18 = many moons ago ! We built a new fence on part of our feed lot for cattle - the very next day - a pack of 5 dogs got in the lot and were chasing the cattle around and ran them threw the brand new fence - banged up a few cattle , but they were OK - My mom and a neighbor saw the whole thing go down - that's how we knew there was 5 . Dad was pizzed beyond pizzed ! Spent another day fixing the fence - he told me they would be back and keep a eye out and to put my gun near the back door - next to his . The next day - after finishing eating lunch - I just happened to look out the back window - over looking the feed lot and there they were - cutting across the neighbors field - headed right to us - I yelled to dad - there they are ! Coming across Henry's field ! We grabbed out guns and out the door we went - I went to the south side of the barn - Dad went to the North side - I was lead - our thinking was after I first shot - they would come around the other side to get the hell out of dodge - my friends - it worked like a charm - long story short - 5 dogs didn't leave . I really hated to do it - yet even our cattle were like family - they had hurt a few + a thousand bucks or so to fix the new fence - they all were town dogs - once they start this - there is only 2 ways to fix it - try and find owners - or sleepy time for the dogs -

Since I bought the plane ticket and I am in Portland, she talked me into staying for a few more days!

I'm sure that Denny ended upon my doorstep because I was making non-diet things like tuna casserole (with lots of cheese) and rice pudding (with the left over rice that I should have been using for fried rice with lots of veggies). She probably won't stay long when she finds out just how bad the mattress on the bed in the guest bedroom is (to say nothing of the fact that there are about 20 boxes of books and all the plants that the resident kitties would eat if they could, the carpet cleaner and the new vacuum--all this stuff allows for a path to the bed but not much else.)

At least the temperatures last night in Portland stayed above freezing most places and it's raining at my house and there is no sign of snow.

And, of COURSE we have a huge snowstorm coming. Of COURSE. 8-12 inches expected Saturday/Sunday. The church I work for is already wondering if we might have to cancel church services. Seriously. I canNOT.

LMAO Meadowcat ! I was talking to Alan J. this and told him - I had seen on the WX Channel last night - it didn't look good for our Meadowcat - that she was on the line for 8 to 12 AND - there appears there maybe another major snow event ? Maybe Midweek with the chance of very heavy snow fall amounts ! Looks like a short summer for you all up there - heck fire - It will be the last of June before the snow melts - then snowing again by Sept ?

Spocksdad - I can't quit laughing at you picture you put up for Killer !

Are you sure that posting has been "Woodshed Cleared" by Ma?
If not, you can get the self appointed Deputy Mod, Denny's stamp of approval...

Reminds me how the media catches some celebrity or politician saying or doing some ***ist atrocity on video.

However, in the interest of "journalism" they play the offending video clip a million times over on every news update and newscast for the next week?

If it is such an offensive atrocity- why rebroadcast it over and over to entire world?

Media's Answer: We don't just report the story, we make the story & get big ratings...

Ten Doberman Rules
Poke Everything.
It's New? Bark At It.
Moves? Chase It.
Doesn't Move? Smell It.
Liquid? Spill and Dribble It.
Treat or Food? Wolf It Down.
Not Food? Chew It Slowly, Be Quiet & Hide From Human.
A Toy? Shred & Destroy It.
Stuffed? De-Stuff It.
Bites You Back? Wrestle It!

At least the temperatures last night in Portland stayed above freezing most places and it's raining at my house and there is no sign of snow.

LOL

I'm good with sleeping on the couch!

And, your menu sounds fine.

When I am done for the day, I can sleep on anything!

After canoe trips, back in the day, I would take a snooze on a tailgate.

LMAO!

I didn't do it on purpose!

I slowed down both times, I ran over one, and tried to dodge driving around or over them. Circumstances wouldn't permit it.
