Capri used to gather a crowd at the vet's...and you're right, it's not exactly a good thing. We put the vet's kids through college, I think.

And sad to say, my drug store (which is generally pretty busy; I live in an older community) knows me by name when I show up.

Daffodils always kind of remind me that stuff comes up and blooms when it's supposed to and to heck with the weather.

When I was still living in Seattle but moving to Portland I rented a place and made a couple of weekend runs to take essentials and get a washer, drier installed and almost got caught in a memorable surprise February snowfall that closed I-5 entirely for most of it's length in Oregon--also dumped a bunch of snow along the I-5 corridor in Washington. When I gpt jhome I was doing something in the kitchen and looked out that window--there was a bed which had been mostly daffodils when I left to go to Portland and most of them had well developed flower buds--I was amazed to see that a half dozen of them had hopened and all that could be seen was the flower heads, standing tall above the foot of snow.

I had one daffodil here that was just about ready to bloom--overnight while it was snowing it has a fully open bloom this morning.

I've seen them bloom, get ice coated with a freezing rain and when it melted they were none the worse for wear.

Immpressive.

Sunny and 60 today so I went for another morning walk; seems there was an overnight explosion (or I totally missed this patch yesterday)

And of course with the weather being so nice, the second I came home from work we got our fetch on! The (not so) indestructible Kong Wubba

Took this while we were out there, kinda reminded me of that pic posted yesterday about the stare yet being afraid of the vacuum LOL

I MUST put in some bulbs this year

Though I think we're about a month away from our daffodils.

I was thinking the same thing, they're beautiful and vibrant, and a harbinger of spring. We do have forsythias planted all along one side of our house, and a couple in front, and we love how they're the first to bloom each spring.

Alright! Here you go chickens!

PUPPY PICTURES!!!

A short video will follow tomorrow when I can get onto a computer.

Nolan is almost 6 months already! WHAT?

I can tell they are already bff's. Can't wait till Nolan is a bit bigger (plus more training for Radar to cope with a moving baby )

Radar got a new handmade sherpa jacket from our friends at the dog park and some boots for the *lovely* weather we have been having. He is still excited about it, though he could do without the boots. The coat even matches his Twins collar! So stylish. We are ready for baseball season.

Thanks! Rad's Mom!

What a cute child.

Now that I started at the end of the thread and will start reading backwards now.

Glad Aunt B taught me this trick.

RAD- Good to see you back. Thanks for the great picture update.

Little Nolan is cutie! He has very nice, expressive eyes for a baby.

Radar looks ready to roll in his boots and coat!

I love the last picture the best. Looks great if you crop it down just around Radar and Nolan. I detect a slight bit of jealousy in Radar's moping face there?

Too bad Radar/Nolan sleeping pic didn't come out better, but it's still sweet.

Your youngest puppy has turned into a person!! Did you expect that to happen? He's gonna step it up a little and go mobile soon. Are you ready?

Radar really doesn't look too thrilled about his boots. Do they stay on in the snow?

Both of your boys are very cute.

Our panhandlers like to work the entrances and exits at Kroger and Lowes. I hear at Walmart too, but I don't do Walmart due to the crowds. Not a big fan of the panhandlers.

Just tell him you're looking for someone to clean out your chicken house in prep for the new flock and Stryker's stall for $10/hr, with the Mister supervising. I'll bet he stay away from you after that... (Unless he's takin' a shine to you...)

Watching an old western movie. Can't believe I have never seen it!

The Big Country.

Chuck Connors for starters, and Charlton Heston, And, some others, whose names I cannot remember.

I know a few of you have seen it.

Don't ruin the plot for me, please.
