Beaumont, I need some of that super energetic enthuseasm for the things I need to do before re-landscaping. Need to build a new manger and chainlink an official training area for the pup, and build a coop! 6 ft. Chainlink is the most practical.
Like the varigated plants your wife chose!

^^ Next summer I'm hoping to replace some rusty chain link fencing...with my design, from nice cedar / stay tuned.

Thks for the kind Landscape workmanship remarks, towards a "that-A-boy"...
- I tend to like to poke away at projects, and many of which are self trained
- so I enjoy the project research & try to incorporate all best practices...to the best of my ability
- without having some expert around, to coach me or offer mentoring advice
- after a major job like this one (started last summer), on septic tank clean-out
- I'll be satisfied when the yard starts to look respectful and dream up something else to occupy my retirement

As Pictured - the gravel stone work (aka sidewalk), was added to encourage Kelly use and avoid her running ontop of planted plants, and keeping dirty paws at a minimum.
- so the garden plot evolved, in trying to solve a pet issue / trying to keep mud and dirt, off our Hickory floors
- the end result, adds more visual appeal

Rock photo is a recent 350# stone purchase, to develop more character.
One more larger accent rock, to buy.
- I never dreamed what this job would end up looking like
- I just keep tweaking it & getting a feeling of Pride now
- one or two Muskoka chairs, will be the final touch
PT - Thanks for your interest...Something I created with my own 2 hands, happy to share / keeps me semi busy.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PS - My "that-A-boy" joke, when I worked my entire Eng. career, in Manufacturing.

^^ One needs 20 "that-A-boys" to get a decent raise, in this "hell-hole".
- but "1-O'h-sh*t" moment, cancell's out the good 20.....achievements get wiped clean, off slate

------------Kelly & (Amy - RIP @ 11.7 y/o)

Looking good! I like your blue rock! I had my favorite rocks at my past home. We just got this place last July and we have some ideas for the natural desert part of our property. One little thin(k) at a time.

Want to see the finished job! Colors look great together!

^^ )
Actually called a Christmas Rock / but I still haven't figured out why...hehe
On the farm 55 years ago, we use to pick stones from the fields & scrap them in a big hole.
Now I'm paying 22 cents/lb. for them...LOL...go figure.

Beau's Joke Time:

A senior citizen said to his eighty-year old buddy:

'So I hear you're getting married?'
'Yep!'
'Do I know her?'
'Nope!'
'This woman, is she good looking?'
'Not really.'
'Is she a good cook?'
'Naw, she can't cook too well.'
'Does she have lots of money?'
'Nope! Poor as a church mouse.'
'Well, then, is she good in bed?'
'I don't know.'
'Why in the world do you want to marry her then?'
'Because she can still drive!'

I don't care if people see this lovely Kelly photo...however:
My problem is almost zero memory most times and having to always delete most all other photos / before I can post more - this becomes the PITA.

I mean "shoot the [email protected][email protected]*%". Moss is a type of shotgun. Coyotes are fair game if livestock is threatened in California law. Fear for your life from dog attack on your property: Shooting the dog is also a legal remedy in CA, especially after 3 police reports.

Nitety-nite, to all

Wake'y-Wake'y...Eggs & Bake'y gang !!

------------------------------------------------------------------

I made these comments, to a Female family friend...
"the ROLEX felt better than buying 10 pairs of expensive, red high heel shoes".
...

Who wants to see my hairy wrist ??...LOL...Beau. tries on a new ROLEX, for the first time ever.
- it felt good, for 5 minutes...till I took it off

Any watch collectors here?...or got a favorite timepiece??
- my everyday watch is a $350 Taser H-3...only take it off to shower, hardly look at my cell phone, for time

Rolex GMT Master II 116710 BLNR: The Batman Rolex, with Blue & Black Bezel.
https://www.prestigetime.com/blog/batman-rolex.html

The Rolex 116710 is not the first two-tone bezel Rolex. The Rolex GMT collection has always had watches with two tone bezels…well before the Rolex GMT Batman was introduced. This is a tradition that has lasted for over 50 years. From their "Pepsi" bezel with red and blue tones (which come to think of it, with those colors it would be more catchy if it was called the "Superman") to their "Coke" bezel with red and black (Daredevil or Deadpool?) Rolex two-toned bezels always somehow received a nice nickname. We now have yet another color combination for the bi-colored bezel blue and black which is called the "Batman" or "Dark Night". Some even call it "The Bruiser" because of the black and royal blue hues. Why Batman? Well, black and blue are some of the most common color combinations used in the classic batman comics and shows and …it sure sounds catchy!

A coyote grabbed my weiner through the fence!!!!!! We heard screams of bloody murder, ran outside waving our arms and screaming as loudly as we could, while running toward our little daschund! He spit him out!!! It was at the gate closure pole. It tore his muscle and herniated his loin. Then we bought a shot gun. We also had heard a couple of kills earlier in that same week.

At first I thought you meant the coyote snatched a barbecued hot dog RIGHT OUT OF YOUR HAND!!!!

and then I figured it out.

Good spelling is optional here so long as it can be read.

I lecture, teach and do public demonstrations... oil painting demos. I volunteered to do 60 free portraits to get my people painting down to under 2 hours, hopefully down to 1 hour, for a new series on portraiture. I have been procrastinating... 3 days now! Somebody chastise me!

Civic Holiday in Canada today, son & little Trevor (YorkiePoo) could not wait till weekend, for a Dads BBQ.
- we had delicious home made burgers & chicken breasts on the grill, for supper
Always love to see and chat, with him...the time flies by so quickly, and then their on their way home.

Kelly, Mom & Dad drove out to the Mennonites to price some deck cedar boards.
Nice drive in the country side...unfortunately the Mennonite baker, was closed.
- got some awesome Ginger cookies there, on Friday
- and sent some cookies home with our son, for his business partner
- she texted us, seen if we had any good deserts in the house...they neighbors, so some treats being delivered
We dearly Love, our close knit family.
- never a silent moment...HeHe...much like this Thread

PT - very glad Frankie, is doing much better / it saddened me, to read about coyote & him.
- several years ago, son and Trevor lived on edge of city limits
- little T-Man run after a Red Fox, in their sub division...fox looking for a cat size meal
- I had to call the over confident bugger off...they think they are indispensable, all 7# of dog

------------Kelly & (Amy - RIP @ 11.7 y/o)
