We had better get Rocky fried up before he gets all tough and stringy. You know how those roosters get!

Well, my day went to H E double hockey sticks!

I was mowing my merrily way and then I saw the flat tire on the truck...

No, No, No.

No way in H E double hockey sticks am I going to change a tire. Time to get triple A.

Spent three hours going to town to get my tire fixed, AGAIN. Kind of think my DDN's have something to do with it.

The reason Texas doesn't fall into the ocean is because Oklahoma roads SUCK!

I am perturbed...

AND! MY STUPID NEIGHBORS BROUGHT A HORSE HOME! I feel so sorry for that horse. They are so stupid, they don't even know that poor horse needs more care than they can give it.

This is a nightmare!

I am going to use Rocky as Stupid Neighbor bait.

I called on my GOOD neighbor and his son and his cousin to put my spare on and got a LOT of info out of them!

Stupid neighbors are, well, STUPID!

Oh, the stories I can now tell!

And, I think the neighbor that shot Dom is the one that helped put my spare on! I asked him who had the little brown terrier. He said, my sister in law.

For shame! I think he both loosened the lug nuts and tightened them while he had the car up on the jack. Without the wheel on the ground, not sure where he got the purchase to do that.

Kelly & dad was enjoying the outside, replacing a new head on my Stilh Line Trimmer.
- the birds like black sunflower seeds best (over ground corn) & both feeders were replenished...a daily thing

First to feed was a male Cardinal.
2nd visitor was a Red Wing Black bird.
Next was 5 Love birds.
^^ Some nice variety to cherish a moment over.

Yesterday, I saw a Mama turkey teaching her three little babies how to hide when danger is heard. I came out to watch them, and when the screen door closed, Mama ducked down in the grass and the babies followed suit. They grazed their way off I didn't have time to go get my phone and take a pic.

Same thing with the deer. They suddenly appear and then race off!

So, I just keep it in my mind. You have to be here to see the wildlife.

I LOVE it!

Happy 4th all!

It's about 10 feet between our birdfeeder and the back door. Walk out; dump in seeds; can’t even get back to the door before a scrub jay lands on it and starts chowing down.

Have a great Fourth of July evening! The rest of the day is already gone *sniff*

Very interesting.
So, we would surmise that SP approaching on her Big JD Mower would cause a "Turkey Apocalypse" !

Lovebirds?? Do you mean doves??

What I call Lovebirds are captives that come from Africa. Have you been telling us a tale with all this Ontario talk??

YES ^^ FAKE NEWS (aka exaggeration) from Ontario, they were Doves.
a) to desensitize Kelly from the Doves eating seeds, when she was a puppy
- she knows all the birds, as her LOVEbirds-Love-Love
- the word "Dove-Love-Love" confuses her
b) these Ontario Doves travels in pairs...so they must be Love-Birds...Hehe

And I have to come clean a 2nd time...the Cardinal was a FM, not the more colorful male.
- I fell so much better, getting all this off my chest this morning......hard to spin a Tale, on a bird watcher.

On Sunday, hanging a TV and doing some reno. stuff.
- so we go to pickup Sushi takeout, for lunch
- on way home, saw BATMAN (aka, see back tattoo) and I snapped his photo...while traffic light was still Red

Whew, B67. You have restored my faith in mankind. I was beginning to wonder about all those car/truck/lawnmower tales. Not a good thing.

Poor batman--according to Everyday Money--

"Net Worth: $9.2 billion
Considering Bruce Wayne's superpower is essentially "being rich enough to afford gadgets and karate training," it makes sense that the Batman would be pretty loaded. Forbes estimates Wayne's worth at $9.2 billion, and lists his company, Wayne Enterprises, as having an annual revenue of $31.3 billion.”

Looks like he’s fallen on hard times.

I think I spell their song coo..cooOOOOoooo...coo...coo...coo.

But I never tried teaching that or their name to any of my dogs.

We also have a horned owl that sounds sorta similar. I’ve not seen him, but my son and ex have. The only way I can tell the difference between their songs (if I just hear the last part without really paying attention) is whether the song is during the day or at night.

The Beatles Lyrics - "I Am The Walrus"
("Magical Mystery Tour" Version)

I am he
As you are he
As you are me
And we are all together

See how they run
Like pigs from a gun
See how they fly
I'm crying

Sitting on a cornflake
Waiting for the van to come
Corporation tee shirt
Stupid bloody Tuesday
Man, you been a naughty boy
You let your face grow long

I am the eggman (Ooh)
They are the eggmen, (Ooh)
I am the walrus
Goo goo g' joob

Mister city p'liceman sitting pretty
Little p'licemen in a row
See how they fly
Like Lucy in the sky
See how they run
I'm crying
I'm crying, I'm crying, I'm crying

Yellow matter custard
Dripping from a dead dog's eye
Crabalocker fishwife pornographic priestess
Boy you been a naughty girl
You let your knickers down

I am the eggman (Ooh)
They are the eggmen (Ooh)
I am the walrus
Goo goo g' joob

Sitting in an English
Garden waiting for the sun
If the sun don't come
You get a tan from standing in the English rain

I am the eggman
They are the eggmen
I am the walrus
Goo goo g' joob g' goo goo g' joob

Expert texpert choking smokers
Don't you think the joker laughs at you?
See how they smile
Like pigs in a sty, see how they snied
I'm crying

Semolina pilchards
Climbing up the Eiffel Tower
Element'ry penguin singing Hare Krishna
Man, you should have seen them kicking Edgar Allan Poe

I am the eggman (Ooh)
They are the eggmen (Ooh)
I am the walrus
Goo goo g' joob
Goo goo g' joob
G' goo goo g' joob
Goo goo g' joob, goo goo g' goo g' goo goo g' joob joob
Joob joob...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3 decades ago, I worked for an largely obese man & at the end of lunch time one day:
- 2 co-workers and I pull into the office parking lot / our Friday out
- and we see the boss, walking like a duck (waddling slowly thru. lot, headed to the side entrance door)

Out of a rare brilliance of joke genius...I recited a Beatles classic.
...I am the Walrus...Coo-Coo-Ca-Chew...

One way of getting out on a ticket

A rookie police officer pulled a biker over for speeding and had the following exchange:
• Officer: May I see your driver’s license?
• Biker: I don’t have one. I had it suspended when I got my 5th DUI.
• Officer: May I see the owner’s card for this vehicle?
• Biker: It’s not my bike. I stole it.
• Officer: The motorcycle is stolen?
• Biker: That’s right. But come to think of it, I think I saw the owner’s card in the tool bag when I was putting my gun in there.
• Officer: There’s a gun in the tool bag?
• Biker: Yes sir. That’s where I put it after I shot and killed the dude who owns this bike and stuffed his dope in the saddle bags.
• Officer: There’s drugs in the saddle bags too?!?!?
• Biker: Yes, sir.

Hearing this, the rookie immediately called his captain. The biker was quickly surrounded by police, and the captain approached the biker to handle the tense situation:
• Captain: Sir, can I see your license?
• Biker: Sure. Here it is. It was valid.
• Captain: Who’s motorcycle is this?
• Biker: It’s mine, officer. Here’s the registration.
• Captain: Could you slowly open your tool bag so I can see if there’s a gun in it?
• Biker: Yes, sir, but there’s no gun in it. Sure enough, there was nothing in the tool bag.
• Captain: Would you mind opening your saddle bags? I was told you said there’s drugs in them.
• Biker: No problem. The saddle bags were opened; no drugs.
• Captain: I don’t understand it. The officer who stopped you said you told him you didn’t have a license, stole this motorcycle, had a gun in the tool bag, and that there were drugs in the saddle bags.
• Biker: Yeah, I’ll bet he told you I was speeding, too.

I always got icked out by this part "Yellow matter custard Dripping from a dead dog's eye” and could barely listen to the rest.

I think I might like “Chew tobacco, chew tobacco, chew tobacco, spit....”

Better than “goo goo g’ joob”

Have to think about it.

My favorite line from I Am The Walrus is is obviously:

Boy, you've been a naughty girl you let your knickers down....

Yeah... My mind goes straight to uh... Well, never mind.

They were stoned when they wrote the lyrics. They didn't know what it meant either after it got on the radio.

We've already determined you are an old fart. You still remember naughty girls letting their knickers down?
