The Mister said it's not any bigger than your mower.

I said who can't have enough mowers on five acres?

He told me it's my decision.

He's no help!

Hope you all have a safe an fun Holiday weekend!

Beau? Your opinion on a Craftsman?
Craftsman LT's likely start around the $1,900 new...so $300 for a 3 year old lawn tractor (LT) seems ?????????
- our country property came with a $2,500 JD L110 Big Box Store quality...what a true POS
The very entry level ones, have weak rear axles that run the hydraulics...they won't like big weeds or hills.

SP - get me the year & model #, I review it in further detail.
My entry level JD was stolen and Insurance cut me a nice check, and I bought the 1998 GT262 that is heavy duty, all the way.
- my light L110 would plug on 4" of thick grass
- the thin gauge deck, was bending all the time
My GT262 will cut weeds down, 4 ft. high - so grass chores are easy and the ride quality is excellent.
- plus it very seldom needs a part...and next year it will be 20 years old

New example: Buy 17.5 HP 42" Auto Drive Lawn Tractor Online & Reviews

CANADA DAY tomorrow - were 150 years old, on July 1st, 2017.

Son & little Trevor & Molly over for BBQ tonight...always fun when he visits.

I just got done with some mowing therapy. I started on the DDN side, partially to show them how to mow and then get the hell away from them. Got a good start on the pattern and will have to restart that section tomorrow. Got to use my headlights! Partially because I wanted to bug them in the dark, partially to irritate them. They had all their lights on and had all their noses pressed to their windows. Hoped they learned something. Tomorrow I am going to put a swim suit on and if they don't like my beer gut, they don't have to look!

I love mowing therapy!

The mower I am considering buying is a 2014 and she will get back to me in the morning with the model. It's a small one.

I smell like grass and I love it!

BJ,

Dom was the hold up. But, now distance to work and work schedule are the hold up. I think I am going to adopt a rescue. Red female maybe?

Soon after Axel passed, a military dude was being deployed and posted his red girl on Craigslist. I was tempted back then.

I think I am just going to go with the flow and keep my eyes open. We'll see what comes along.

It's weird coming home and no Dom.

^^ That red tractor - sure is pretty, for short $$ ... clean & garage kept.
- for 3 years old ... $300 is a steal, of a price
- they were about $1,900 new & have the Briggs OHV engine / pressurized with oil filter
