You are correct John. He was always here when I got home and guarding the property. He was always happy to see me and would bark his head off until I got out of the truck and petted him. Yes, he was a free spirit. I tried keeping him in the yard fence, but he would never stay there. I am very sad. He got locked with a un-spayed little female in the middle of the road and they went down the road to her house. I didn't see this, Alan did. I think the owner of the female shot him. Don't know this for sure, but he's never not been here when we come home, in, going on a year. I have been sincerely trying to round up money for the vet visit, but I am in not making a late house payment mode. Country living is harsh.

Thanks John for explaining.

Waiting for them to dump a box of puppies in my driveway...

Guess there will be no more feuds at the property line... With Dom gone. I guess that is a good thing?

The other Stupid Neighbors got more goats...

So much fun around here!

Not.

Maybe he's just hanging out with her and assuring her he will get a second job and take care of the pups, but I seriously doubt it.

So the ad subtly brings to light our wish to actually lock our teen-aged brats in at night--clever manipulation, effective sales pitch. Therefore funny?

At least to me and my offbeat brain.
But, what if a groggy hen is stumbling in for the night and it shuts while she's halfway in?

Well, then I guess BJ/STJ can have the chicken dinner he's been howling about...

I will mail it to him snail mail.

GJ/NB never requested chicken dinner! YOU did, multiple times, BJ!

So, there!

You also said you were willing to be the evil doppelganger!

What do you have to say about that, HUH?

Called the JD shop and I MIGHT have my baby back, tomorrow!

Mister was giving me crap and said you will get a phone call in the morning saying it's ready.. I said, remind me to give you my payment card, in the morning. Then he said,
maybe.

Does that mean he is paying for it?

I are confused. And, I am not walking out to the man shack to find out.

Have you heard of She Sheds, all?

They EXIST!

There I go! Derailing, Spock, again!

SP - U've probably milked that story, over the years...

^^ So your working at the used car lot one evening, and its getting late in the day.
- a good salesman always need another sale
- and you got a dinner-winner of a customer, that is getting a wee bit hard to close
- what to do / what to do ??
- U'r eureka moment / change the subject temporarily (a lot like in this thread...LOL...circle back later)
U ask - "when I get home tonight, want2 know the first thing I'm doing"?
- customer gives you a "YES & a big smile"...the salesman's secret plan
- conversation switches to a one eyed chicken, that you protect & spoil...Uno
- now back to the used car sale / you circle back for the YES confirmation & close the deal ($$)
LIKE UNO !!

PS - fast thread tonight / 6 new posts to read, after I finished typing.
Uno means 1 in Latin ... wife just told me, she good in languages.

Wait, I’m lost.

Except Uno is also one in Spanish. A living language. Useful to learn.

I personally would like to know Koine Greek if I have to learn an ancient language that no one really speaks anymore.

How about “accidentally” opening up the fence between you and SN2 to let in some goats to take care of your thistles.

Melbrod,

Uno had less syllables than One Eye.

Wait! No, it didn't.

My bad.

Less writing at the vet...

It's all good.

Wanna race?

Uno...One Eye sylbs. Fewer, not less. Misuse that always drives me nuts.

615 on what thread?

I am still working deals in my head...

Is that a credit score or is that what you intend to put down on this beauty?

I believe you said you like Nissan's.

And, just so you know, the manufacturer's warranty has run out. Here is what I have to offer you for an extended warranty.

Yea - Language came to her so very easy...self taught initially.
- in grade1, with zero home schooling, she was reading grade4 readers (after 1 month)
- until the teacher threatened to strap her hand with a wooden ruler
- in grade9 she answered a grade12 Latin question, that stumped the senior class
- she even took French from grade9 through 12
Perfect in spelling & grammar, and a quick reader...has always served her well.
- I was just the opposite, English language studies took me decades to improve & write with impact
- Math was my easier subject, and I became a top problem solver as an Engineering analysis
^^ I always said, if one is weak in English, better be good with numbers...I proved that thesis...HeHE

PS - good marriages are built without an obvious Boss role, imposing a one sided agenda.
- that's my Dr. Love advice, for tonight...

And your right on the pretty part, and a true kindness within.
- I've always said:
I'm not as dumb as I look...LOL...so the "Beaumont charisma", strikes again !!

- took me 3 days to learn how to ride it

- so used the steps of the front porch at the farm house, as a ladder...to get on the seat

Sooin I was peddling faster & faster, with less steering & brake skills learned.
