- and studied that forum enough to search out & purchase a nice old JD 318 & GT262 garden tractors
- #318 is a 1992 model with hyd. snow blower, 3PH & 30" rear tiller / model GT262 (year 1998) for grass cutting

JD 14SB's are so rare around here, I've never seen one in person...they command good $$ and much respect.
- so I am a commercial Toro push mower guy, due to local availability / always something older, is better made

You might also enjoy a forum named Yesterday's Tractors. I lurk there occasionally. Nice folks and lots of knowledge of old tractors.

Mel,

How is the trauma at your house? Anything, broke, fixed yet?

Everything here, still broke.

I think we are going to start duck taping. "They", whoever they are, say it fixes EVERYTHING!

SP ^^
You started this crazy & Fun thread, so the direct reference was a respect thing / and a "that-a-boy", as the creator.

I think its great / just adding random thoughts, that come to mind.
We are a tight knit group here, and free to bring up "what-ever".

Example - Mel shared about her sons brilliant gift in music, all because STJ listens to classical music
- me not so much a music ear, but I can appreciate the variety in stories & the dedication some venues take
This thread just fills a void...and its fun, sharing a laugh with like minded Dobe people.

----------------------------------------

Beau's Random Thought:
- 6 weeks after 9/11, my son and I flew to Osaka Japan, thru. Canadian air space...my ticket was $1,200 return
- son won a free trip, as a Top32 World Junior 9-ball player
- his billiard talent was fine tuned by playing snooker, on a 6x12 ft. table daily (from 14 years of age)
So while in Japan, we only found 6 people in 6 days, that spoke some English
- had a great trip, and ordered food off a photo

Six months after returning home, an abrasive salesman took me out to super...little job perk )
- I said, you like Japanese food ?
- so we ate Sushi & he taught me about the dipping sauces & how to hold chop sticks
- few weeks later, dad showed son how to eat Sushi...and we both love it
Funny part was - correctly ate Japanese food, after we left Japan...due to the language barrier.

Sure!

I had a customer that Would't shut up and I spent 30 minutes with him, ranting and raving rattling about how horrible we are. Couldn't, get a word in edge wise.

He was a mouth and wouldn't shut up enough to be educated.

Lost a girl, sometime yesterday. A Barred Rock. I think it was Dominic. Didn't see it happen, so can't kick his arse.

Oh the drama!

The Mister just left with the JD! Taking it to the shop. Damn tomato cages... grumble, grumble, grumble. Damn Neighbors!

And, there were a lot of ignorant people riding in the semi-truck driver's blind spot on the way to work this morning. And, each and everyone was texting!

The stars and the moon are not lined right now. Can't forget the dummies at work that held the door for EVERYONE at the elevators!

There are four elevators! What the?

Okay, I feel better now. Thanks for listening.

See what happens when my JD is not by my side? Kind of like not having a Doberman.

The red mower turded out on me.

Mister won't let me touch his silver steed.

He touched my green one, taking it to the shop!

This is NOT fair!
