I have no clue what order NoBite is going to post the pics, but there is a pic of my Dry Pond, Dominic and Princess Lily Belle. One pic of the neighbors DD's (well, at least 2 of the A-holes). The black Dane pup seems okay. I hope NB blows that pic up, so you can actually see their partial pack of dogs. But, if not, you can at least see I take pride in my property and the neighbors don't.

Spock,

Patience, Grasshopper!

Wakey-Wakie to the "sleep in gang" here....get out of bed lazies !!

Giving out Xmas presents today & we finally have a dusting of snow, on the ground.
- even the dogs, will get something

Headed to sons condo, in an hour...with my drywall mudding / sanding / painting tools...for bathroom refreshing.
- now he is excited to learn some home renovation skills
- he wasn't any help as a teenager, but home ownership changes all that
Its rewarding, to see him learning how to work with his hands / little manual labor, don't hurt anybody...:2smile:

@ bug

I have a quart of split pea soup left over that I made a couple of days ago.

What makes it so good? Gartner's home smoked ham hocks! Make little ham hock stock, save the meat. Cook the split peas with the requisite vegetables and add the meat back in,

Me.... I always make croutons and liberally use reggiano parmesan cheese, as well as chopped parsley.

BTW. We were dirt poor when I was a young kid. I am guessing an average dinner cost about $1. My father was medical student, then an intern, then a resident, then partner in a practice that still thrives today. (He is 91). Rags to riches story. Of course, buy the time they got rich, I was leaving home for Oregon. Oh well...

STJ!
Yuck!

Son and the YorkiePoo's (Trevor & Molly) visited this evening.
- Mrs. Beau was making a crock pot of cooked meat/veggie stew / for Kelly's breakfast meal
- the little ones wouldn't stop begging/crying, for more
- got worse, when Mrs. took the lid off, to stir up the delicious mix...whine/cry/whine

Son is leaving in a few days, for a months vacation in Sweden, so no big Xmas party here.
- tonight Dad gave him a cheap-gag gift, to open / and he loved it
- stainless steel puddy knives (4), from Harbor Freight MI.
- can't find the good stainless steel ones, in Canada...so they will not rust
- we gonna use them tomorrow afternoon, on the plaster walls
- doing his master washroom reno. & getting it ready for paint
Is that your boy, Beau?

How old is he, is he single, and does he have money?

And, if you are giving out Christmas presents today, what will you give out on Christmas?

And, I could use a barn, Santa!

:wink2:
Xmas day is without our beloved son / so its just Mrs, Kelly & Beau...for a few things to exchange.
- son got his gifts, from mom & dad today
- little Trevor got his toy
- and before we started to sand out the Durabond 90 mud repairs, in bathroom / handed out gifts

Now the nice HD battery booster pack, I gave him / he wants another identical one, for his business partner...to put under her Xmas tree. https://www.amazon.com/GOOLOO-20800mAh-Portable-Starter-Protection/dp/B06XY35D93
- we probably going back to MI, between Xmas & New Years
- and son is gone to Europe, for 4 weeks...over holidays
^^ Dad's brain fart - since son is flying out in 3 days / just re-gift what I bought him, and I replace it, before he gets back home....works for me...

re...And, I could use a barn, Santa!
- No soup for you SP
- says: Scrooge Beau McDuck...:nerd:

I just love action shots of Pulik and Komondorok (or whatever the plurals are).

Bug, are you saying my house is so dirty that a rag mop will turn black when I swab down the kitchen?

Because you just might be right!

Anyway, we have reddish sorta granular dust around here (red sandstone), so I’ll have to look for a apricot corded poodle.

LOL! Actually I was thinking that there just wasn't any breed that was green (I've never really understood why all dust mops seem to be green).

I go back so far in conformation that Puli's were never shown corded--they were all comb outs like the Poodles. Imagine my shock when I dropped out of showing conformation for nearly 10 years and was standing near the Puli ring and ALL of them were corded.

Some of the best orchard land in Oregon is in the foothills and they mostly have red clay type soil (very high iron content) and when I was training my Dobes in tracking the Aussie used to go along (he could track but he lied a lot but was so convincing about it that he was entirely unreliable) but if it had been raining (and this is after all, the PNW--it rains a lot) he always came home with pink feet.

I like the idea of an apricot corded poodle...

And I wouldn't dare cast any sort of aspersions on the state of anyone else's kitchen floor...in fact since I noticed this morning tat one of the cats playing with a ball of cat hair (and all my cats are shorthaired) I don't want to even think about kitchen floors.

PS Puli is singular and Pulik is the plural (I was told by someone who was supposed to know that "ik" is a common ending to designate plural in Hungarian.)
