I know he doesn't pop in as much as he used to, but if Alan J shows up, would someone kindly point him to this post? Trying to show him we haven't killed his plants yet

I've been hovering all morning (first on 5:38 AM MT this morning)

My daughter got lazy yesterday and decided to order home delivery for the weekly grocery shopping--same day scheduled delivery within a 2 hour window. We've never tried it before (I was always doubtful they would do a good job picking produce and meat), but they actually did a pretty decent job. It's $6 extra, but that may actually be worth it.

Thank you for that.

Co-Pilot orders that way too.

I always wondered about the picking of the produce.

Glad to hear this.

I am waiting on an abundance of tomotoes from Mom and Dad.

I imagine the picking of produce might depend on individual employees and a particular store's management. Another little piece you might be interested in is that the drivers can't accept tips in person--they're still doing contactless deliveries here. My daughter did the order online and paid for it, so I don't know if there was a place to add a tip there, though I'm sure if she saw a place she would have entered one.

I know their is such a hierarchy that is needed for a man and a house of women. I have been trying to close my girl on this for years i just come back around to keeping the original ,cooking for myself and tolerating a messy home...she does laugh at my jokes!

Yeah, when you only get a week or so of winter, I guess it is something special. It's even better when you can get it to coincide with Christmas so you don't have to sing about snowmen, Jack Frost and sleighs dashing through the snow while you're in your shorts.

It's going to be in the mid 80's here all week, down into the mid 50's at night. Moderate temps, really, but we have no air-conditioner, so it's bordering on hot for me.

Just a touch cluttery every afternoon--I've been waiting for the threat of thunderstorms to ebb so I can poison the front lawn. Weeds, that is. Same thing.

Or is it Like a House of Cards...you want a Mitt of Aces & kept getting dealt some Lower denomination cards ????

The rolling pin quip got me laughing.

True story here.

One of my Grandma's would give a rolling pin to her granddaughters when they got married.

Since I never got married I had to buy my own rolling pin!

SP - you have AJ phone number // Beau advises U, to not let MrAlan get his hands on it.
- guard it, with your Life

As we now know, Alan has a House of Women (up his sleeve), and one that can't bake a delicious hot Apple Pie, just might be good enough for your man & doing Mr. dishes (on a timely manner).

How will Hossy do locked up in the RV while we go sight see?

Rutrow!

I missed a call from my recruiter today! Her call got buried with the Spam calls.

I don't know what this means.

Usually when a recruiter calls back you have the job.

But who the hell knows anything anymore.

Am I hired or fired?

Still off my feed.

I will be up early tomorrow to leave a bright and cheery message and apologize for missing her call.

Fingers crossed?
