Yep! The crap is going down in OKC.

They lit up a patrol vehicle.

Stupid bussed in rioters!

What point do you think you are going to make when you can't even set a good example.

I know I'm sitting here trying not to be angry at the whole crowd.

I feel sorry for those people in pain who just want to be heard, who are seeing their legitimate protest hijacked. This will set back their cause for a generation.

But, what's going down still, right now, are not legitimate protesters.

They are starting dumpsters on fire, spray painting, damaging businesses.

They are giving the legitimate protesters a bad name.

The owners of the properties they are damaging didn't do a damn thing to anyone!

I know...I can just picture those people who were there in the daylight, marching and hoping to be heard, who are now at home watching the TV and seeing everything go up in flames. I know many of them are just as horrified as I am.

At least it looks like they got the fire at St John's Church in DC put out (that's the church across the street from the White House that presidents attend on special occasions--it was built in 1815.)

Guess it's time to shut and lock the windows and turn the AC on. Never know how far the stupidity is going to make it.

I didn't do crap to anybody!

Why am I being punished for something that I had nothing to do with?

I was merely trying to save some money by not turning the AC on!

Mel,

I can tell you that there are an unfortunate number of Californians who have more money, odd tastes in pets and no good sense who illegally obtain things like tigers, lions and jaguars and the occasional puma and keep them in tiny cages to show off to their friends. From time to time one of them gets loose and scares the pants off of their neighbors--I know a guy who has worked at zoos in several places and he says that often these escapees from unsecure private homes find their way to the vicinity of zoos and are either killed by police or trapped and sent away to some place who specialze in maintaining large areas where they can allow such animals to live.

Sad but true.

If that tiger ends up in Guthrie there is no one to call!

All Law Enforcement officers are busy trying to protect a hospice center. Really? People not willing to go into the light have to put up with this $hit?

I wouldn't be surprised if my County law enforcement was called in.

Dumba$$e$!

Looting and being all "kewl" for the cameras.

I hope you Kewl People are proud of yourselves!

Really?

The crap is just now winding down?

The legitimate protesters left at 4:30-ish. They had a permit and didn't tear up someone else's property. Bunch of punks screwed up their peaceful protest.

I am so glad I live sorta in the country.

It's everywhere Aunt B!

You didn't know that we are growing more land?

I am being sarcastic.

However, I have been traumatized by the demolition we are doing to our world since I was a kid.
