Bad storm last night .
60 MPH winds and hail last night .
And bad news.
Well maybe good news.
A big branch fell on the Margarita Hut outside.
Whole thing blew over which also ripped the 20 year old umbrella the resided over the MH (margarita hut) !
So what to do.......
I think we need a ...oh what do you call them thingys .......oh yeah...Ga-zee-bo.
Yep....thats what we need.
So how much ?
Just needs to hold 2 people.
We like to sit at a bar though...not a swing.
Drinking and swings ...hummmmm...I feel the earth swaying already.
Certainly there must be enough room for a bar within a ga-zeeee-bo.

Oh my...gazebos are expensive to buy.
Looks difficult for the inexperienced to build.
How about a floating deck?
Oh my.....will have to consult with MC on this adventure as she is the professional.

Sounds like a good one LDi ! Sorry to hear about the MH ! That is heart breaking !

Boy it has been a VERY busy morning here in East Central Indiana ! Mr. Business and been on the cloak since he got up . Fixed my cup of mud and we went outside on the patio - nice morning here - then I got the Look ! What in the world is that dad look , And no sooner than the look he was off to the East fence , Is was a Deer ! Close and in HIS field ! He took care of that problem in short order , last we could see , the deer was still running South . Then we got attacked by Robins ! He just about got one too , It has been relentless here - Most times the little , little song sparrows are no problem , yet they landed in HIS lot , they decided that was not a good place to sing . Now on my 3rd cup and from the West came 2 ducks , landing in the open ditch , but first that had a fly over the house in formation , then back to the ditch . He was so busy , he hardly had time to do his business . And Now ?? The Working man is laying at my feet taking a nap , lol Need to rest up , you just never know who or what will be trespassing in HIS lot next

OK today Scott and I have decided to do something nice for someone.
Our neighbor across the street (Richard) needs some help with his yard.
Trimming shrubs etc.
So we are going to go do it for him.
He is pretty old and has stage 4 Lung cancer.
Richard is an old biker ....with plenty of stories to tell us.
So with COVID-19 and all we decided to do something nice for someone else in need and in turn he promised to do something nice for someone else.
So gotta go warm up for the day !!!
See ya at lunch ........
Meanwhile if someone could figure out how I can achieve a gazebo for under one thousand dollars that would be nice.
Hey SP.....Scotts great at wallpaper and painting......your mister is good at woodwork.
Want to mister swap?

Here's an idea, put up a Pavilion, much better than Gazebo.
Don't you remember I posted pic back in Dec for SP's Shop/Barn fantasy project? (contingent on you winning Lottery)

https://www.dobermantalk.com/non-dob...ml#post4103997

My neighbor has one like in picture, with metal roof, equipped with a huge flat screen TV where he watches sports and smokes his cigars about every other night. It has clear, heavy, roll-down weather flaps for inclement wx conditions. In FL you would need bug screens, as on the pools, no?

Looks like that one is on a slab with Pavestone surrounding on remainder of large patio.

BUT NOW........MH is dead!!!
So........its time!!!
Appears we will have to build ourselves though and we need simple since we are not experienced carpenters.

LDi & SP.
Mister swapping 15 minutes in, Ya-All would find some little petty Male Fault.
- that could be obsessed, into something bigger & more irrelevant...
- "with enough poking the Bear"

Better keep what you got, before your Dude wakes up & smells the roses.
- and likes the other side, of the Lake / aka better fishing

Papa just spewing his Relationship wisdom....the opposite equivalent of Ann Landers.

LDI : & Scott - helping out a sick neighbor, very very nice.
- when our dear neighbor was dying of caners, 30 years ago
- Mrs cooked him supper, every night and young Andrew & Dad took it over
- his family was MIA, until the will was read / super nice old retired Fireman
- once he fell in the kitchen, but little Andrew was watching out our side window & went over and helped him back up ...he trusted us with a Key and loved our first Dobe Tanya

PS - headed 100 miles, to see Twin67 shortly...visiting family & Mrs67 three sisters (up North).

What a sad day this is - The end to a era ! The stories the MH could tell - so , so sad

SD picture is just what I want for here ! I bet that would cost 10 grand to put in . But what is money ? right ?
