Went to HD Saturday, crowded but plenty of cleaning supplies in stock. Picked up some house brand blue shop towels on sale and pool chlorine for summer. Can always use good stock of shop towels & plan on making homemade disinfectant wipes using a bleach solution and empty wipe containers. Here's a well informed video talking about home disinfecting solutions:

HEB grocery chain here (largest) are changing operating hours to 8-8PM to allow restocking overnight. DW said fresh meats (why?), milk & eggs only things she saw depleted on shelves. I can see this hoarding resulting in a big wastage of food when it all spoils, if not frozen.

Ah come on who do you think? Although almost everything in this marriage gets an equal vote by Mrs TN and myself and we discuss things, when it comes to the house interior, especially the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen, she has the final veto powers

We will meet my aunt and uncle in a couple of hours for dinner. Then they are back off again to home.

My wife and I just finished staining the deck. Took most of the day with a lunch break in between. Not a large deck but the railings take forever.
Still have stain on my hands even after scrubbing.
I think I could paint a deck. I would probably still get grumbled at if I were to help.

I let Mister paint interior walls of the house. I would get in his way.

I am amazed and love him even more for his organized, fastidious and job well done paint jobs! He rocks!

Were you Mrs listening to music while you were doing this? If so, what kind of music?

Good Morning All!

It's overcast and damp today!

I got scolded yesterday for having my Fav heater going. I innocently asked, What's the problem? He said burning propane. Asked him if he had checked the level yet?

Game Over!

He didn't believe Yogi made it over here in one day.

I'm being ornery.

I love veto powers!

Since we're on the subject of your bathroom project and TP, run this by Mrs. TN for approval for your new bathroom?.....

Forgot to ask TN, do you have hard water in your area that might leave calcium deposits on your new shower's dark colored tile?

Spocksdad --- That is a great idea ! Having Not one ! But a pair of Dobermans protecting the TP ! Brilliant idea ! You just never know -- Mrs. TN could be hoarding it !

And now- Page 2 .

That's was what I was thinking - I but ( also ) that Mrs. TN uses her veto powers and has TN cleaning it everyday

That is a nice toilet paper holder!

We have a Rainsoft water softening system so all is well The contractor will also put sealant on the tiles to protect them; the downside of that is, I have to remember to re-apply the sealant about every 6 months or so. he also told us to invest in a decent squeegee to help keep the tiles and glass clean/dry.

The deck is one thing I can paint. It doesn't have to be perfect. I am not the greatest on walls in the house. No music - although towards the end I thought darn should have been listening to some music as we did this.

She is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are her life, her love, her leader.
She will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of her heart. You owe it to her to be worthy of such devotion.
