That is turtle abuse.

I find turtles quite fascinating.

No need to paint their shells.

20 years ago a guy brought a snapping turtle into the local billiards hall, one night / found him on the road.
- he started to lean it into people (customers there)
- the owner of the place got mad / "get the H*ll out of here, before it bites someones finger off"

SP - Timmy likes his shell paint & he is done going to the pool hall.

Beau found a local 2002 GMC Serria Z71, 6.0L/300HP - 1500 HD, 4x4 today.
- a clean original, with working AC & buckets / oil spray undercoated helped save it
- likely my next P/up purchase / and flip my red 1998 3/4 Ton 4x4...that is gas thirsty

New trucks have gotten so large...they should come with a step ladder !!
- saw a guy 5'10" tall gassing one up, when he walked around the hood, he looked like a "little people".
- I'll be happy to have a nice 15 year old Z71 4x4, simple & cheap to maintain, looks like a truck should

DODGE / enormous-ginormous = RAM...Hemi with a self destructing valve design, $9,000 rebuilds happening without any warranty help
CHEV / huge wheel wheel openings, that could almost accept a 28" tire...shows lots of frame rail, just weird
FORD / gas guzzling & the EcoBoost engine...$9,000 turbo repairs getting common at 100K
- The simple explanation is that EcoBoost is a combination of turbocharging and direct fuel injection that improves fuel economy without sacrificing engine power

SP - Titan / does Nissan still make a truck (LOL) ?

If I chose to by new, it would be a v8 Toyota truck...for the Big3 reasons outlined above.

- The Toyota Tundra is a pickup truck manufactured in the United States by the Japanese ..... Equipped with the 5.7-liter V8 the Tundra has a maximum tow rating of 9,000–10,400 lb (4,100–4,700 kg) depending on body configuration...

- Those are LS family engines as well. They just aren't designated LSx. In fact, you'll find that many people on this forum are using 5.3 heads on their LS1's. And TONS of builds begin with the 6.0L (LQ4/LQ9) engines. So If your looking to build up a engine, the LQ4 is a good place to start. Major difference in LQ4 vs. LS1/6/2/7 is block construction. The LS motors are aluminum block and heads, whereas the LQ uses a sturdy iron block for truck use. Hope its a start!

B67 is a born again "good" man !!

I can't be tempted / especially into cutting grass, watering chickens & spend the rest of the day:
- roaming around 5 acres, on a 4x4 ATV
- and never get time, to fix some old Chev trucks

^^ Relocation sounds like too much work...sorry SP...but thks for the offer.

If I was your neighbor, there would be less than 19 ken in the chicken coop....
- 1 less by the week / I'd eat good
