Now this is a new one for me:

The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
Southeastern Teller County in central Colorado...
Northwestern El Paso County in east central Colorado...

* Until 1030 AM MST.

* At 958 AM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located near Air Force
Academy, or 13 miles north of Colorado Springs, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow. Wind gusts
to 40 to 50 mph will be possible.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Dangerous travel.

I-25 from Colorado Springs to Monument will be affected by this snow
squall. Strong west winds to 50 mph will be possible.

I always think of squalls out on the water affecting sailing ships....a snow squall just sounds weird to me.

Anyway, I'm just south of the Air Force Academy, so this one is north of me.

At one time I really tried to keep up with everyone's shared music. Sadly, I could not keep up and now I am too far behind to ever catch up. But, someday, when I have nothing else to do I look forward to catching up.

Tomorrow I take Kiri in for one more ultrasound before giving it up. In spite of her svelte figure she still shows signs of being pg. It is really driving me crazy. A friend of mine said it very succinctly...
She said, I know it is just hell waiting to know. This time I am not making cookies to share with the staff, cause I may have to bring them back home and eat them all again.

..."some guy named Larry".

Nigel Video Link - https://www.goodshomedesign.com/brit...HIStI9ewg7EKPU

British speaking Parrot, in California.
- Went Missing For Four Years & Returns Speaking Spanish

Parrots are highly intelligent creatures and their learning capacity is quite impressive. This next story of a grey African parrot called Nigel will surely leave you in awe, as he returned to his owner after 4 years of wandering around the world. But the most stunning part is the fact that he also learned to speak Spanish while traveling.

Nigel flew away in 2010 from his home in California, and once he returned to his owner, Darren Chicks his British accent was gone and had been replaced by a Spanish one. Another peculiar thing was that he kept asking about someone named “Larry”. The missing parrot was found by Julissa Sperling in Torrance and she mentioned that Nigel was speaking Spanish to her, asking “What happened?” After searching online for missing parrot ads, she found someone looking for her lost companion and turned out to be an entirely different owner. But luckily, she contacted the Animal Lovers pet store, which kept all their receipts from previous sells, and they managed to track down Nigel’s owner. At first, both the parrot and Darren were confused by the meeting, since it had been so long that they last saw each other. Now Darren says that he instantly recognized his lost pet when he saw it, he just couldn’t believe his eyes as Nigel had been gone for such a long time.

"PG" That's a term my mom's generation always used to use for Pregnant. She's 90 y/o this year.

Here's a Word Hippo page with other adjectives to describe pregnant:

https://www.wordhippo.com/what-is/an.../pregnant.html

Surprising, "PG" is not on this list?

(I had never heard "Up the Duff" -apparently, UK equiv to "Knocked Up")

Dang it!

That dog stole my future red Dobe's name!

Guess I will just have to get a bulldog and name it Hector, now.

I am going to go eat worms now.

Kick Ass little Bulldog there!

Nigel is believable. Greys are amazing. I owned one for many years. Simply could not keep up with his vocabulary. He had our phone ring down to a T. Many time I would pick up and say 'Hello' then realize he had fooled me again. He had my voice perfected and Richard's perfected and confused me many times. I would set him out on my back deck on his own perch after I had clipped his wings.
One day he flew as I had let the wings grow out to much. He perched at the top of the neighbors big Cottonwood talking and laughing at me for two days and nights. The third day he flew across the
back pasture ( the most beautiful sight). I marked where he might land and got in the car to follow. As I pulled up in the block I thought he would come down. I saw two ladies get out of their car
and saw 'Solomon', as we called him on the grown waddling over to them saying, 'Hiya, how are you, whats' up?' I won't forget the look on their faces. When I got out of my car and called him, he
gladly came and flew to my shoulder.
The cats would share his food. He didn't care. The dogs, he did not like sharing them sharing affection with me, and would chase them from the room. Can't tell you how many times I would go to the store forgetting to change my shirt from where he loved to sit on my shoulder and of course leave bird dropping. My kids would point it out when I got home, like, Mom how could you.....
