At least I can ride and not have mosquitos landing on me.
I will leave them bugs in the dust!!
We have been quite busy lately between physical therapy sessions, dog training classes, biking, and gardening.
Loving all the battery powered yard tools. Yup spring in coming ..seeing the new growth on the tops of our oak trees.
The trees always know..........never wrong.

I'm so tired today! I was fast asleep when my alarm jangled me awake, and I'm usually awake and up well before it goes off. Rich was shopping yesterday, all day, so I did all the chores, including cleaning the chicken coop again. I can't get the whole thing cleaned out by myself because the roosts are on hinges that lift up and hook to the ceiling and it's too heavy for me by myself, but I got the rest of it cleaned out. Underneath the roosts is still a mess and has to wait for Rich, who keeps SAYING he's going to go do it, but never manages it. I'm going to have to nag, and I hate nagging...

On the way home from shopping, Rich always stops at the Chinese place in Sturgis and gets dinner for us, but alas, they took off and went to China for their yearly month-long vacation, so the place was closed. Pickins are pretty slim (haha) in Sturgis, food-wise, so he got a frozen pizza at the grocery store and it was thawed by the time he got home. I baked it anyway, because I hadn't made dinner yesterday, and it was horrible. Limp and soggy. Even the less-than-stellar Chinese food would have been better than that pizza. Missy and Chicklet helped me eat mine, and they thought it was good, but they're a dog and a chicken so they'd think ANYTHING was good. Blech.

Anyway, I had just started evening chores when Rich got back home, so he brought in the house stuff and when I was done feeding and watering, I came in and put it all away, then we ate that godawful pizza. Well, it was better than nothing, and I don't have anything that I could fix "quick" for dinner. I need to can some soups and stuff for days like this. Soup and crackers would have been good. Oh, that's great, now I have ANOTHER project on my to-do list! But it needs to be done, and winter's the best time to do it, I'd best just get to it.

However, tonight I'm making that wonderful Zereshk polo (the rice thing with barberries, chicken, orange peel, and almonds). I LOVE THAT STUFF, and it will make up for the crap we ate last night.

Speaking of crap, does anyone else see the commercials for the CPAP cleaner things and think they say "CRAP CLEANER?" Every time one of those comes on, my brain sees "crap cleaner" and I think, "Man, I wish I had one of those!"

So I'm still tired, I have a headache (I took aspirin, but it isn't working) and I'm gonna go sit in front of the TV, let it mush my brain, and drink coffee. More coffee will probably help.

Keep up the good work, LaDi!

Not buff yet, just trying to keep lost weight off, trim and firm up.

I started a Crossfit regime last Thurs with a group of veterans at local CF gym, per cardiologist's recommendations: "(5) x 45min "vigorous exercise/week" I was checking out this crossfit gym (across street from Spock/Eva's school) and was balking at membership fees. The gym business manager suggested I could workout for free once/week with a PTSD veterans group of assorted ages.

Went last week and it was great! I wore my Pulsar fitness tracker watch to monitor heartrate and keep below 130 (85% of max for my age). The hardest task was swinging, then carrying kettle bells and dumbells back and forth on 100 foot course repeatedly for 12 minutes. I was anticipating total arm fatigue for this exercise, but turned out to be a leg hamstring burner! HR never got above 105 bpm. However, next week might have rowing machines...

Our instructor looks like a buffed up retired, female Marine DI, but was really nice and understanding toward our group, of varied fitness levels. I was second oldest of the vet group. I asked her to just get us through the session without killing us, no records needed to be strived for! I had mentioned to owner that this crossfit business should put more pics of old fart OG's like us on their webpage, instead of all the buff young gym rats, to get a a more diverse clientele. So, while we worked out, one of the coaches did take quite a few pics (videos) of our group... Maybe some links in future postings?

After doing this workout with the vet group for a month, I might get minimum membership for (4) x 30 minute "Burn" classes/week. All on non-Dobe school days...

Good morning ! Boy , it's been a busy week here , Yesterday I attended the Indiana crop management class at Noblesville IN - A good hours drive to the North East side of Indy - Them damn round about's ! They must have had a hundred of them in a mile ! BUT - I made it there and back threw them - I just drove like a city person ( Nut's ) lol

It started at 9 a.m. and ended at 4:45 - long day of just setting ! The Donuts that had were outstanding LDI ! lmao

Now lunch was another thing ! They some kind of pork + sides - I sat with Dr. Camberato and other on the Purdue staff , Jim looked at me and asked about the meat - I said Jim - you ever chew on a B.F. Goodrich ? That is what it tastes like ! It was terrible ! Now the sides were very good + they had cookies ! Which I loaded up on to eat later in the meeting as Lunch sucked !

I was sure tried when I got home -

Big day today - so talk to you all later

Indian Love Call
Nelson Eddy, Dorothy Kirsten https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dov5n3vTPCs

Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo, Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo
When I'm calling you
Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo, Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo
Will you answer too?
Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo, Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo

That means I offer my life to you to be my own
If you refuse me I will be blue, waiting all alone

But if when you hear my love call ringing clear
Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo, Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo
And I hear your answering echo so dear
Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo, Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo
Then I will know our love will become true
You'll belong to me and I'll belong to you
Then I will know our love will become true
You'll belong to me and I'll belong to you
Believe it or not! I've heard that song before!

I know it's hard to believe at my tender age.

Since we have designated breaks and lunches at work, it's hard for me to eat when I am hungry. I am never hungry first thing in the morning. It's hard to find things I can eat at my desk when I do feel famished. Cheese and crackers and veggies are my go to while at work. By the time lunchtime rolls around, I'm not hungry.

Not the best eating habit.

I know traffic circles are supposed to be an efficient solution to traffic lights, but they freak me out! Haven't encountered one in Oklahoma yet. Last time I encountered a traffic circle, people weren't navigating through one while texting. Probably not the case these days!

Well you have failed on your incentive plan.
You MUST offer the appropriate bait!

A few Sundays ago, I wished I had a dash cam so I could show you all my ridiculous trip to work for 3 hours.

I don't think any of you would have sat through the 45 minute video. I was a nice ride to town, through town and plenty of parking in the parking lot, though. Oh! Every light was green. Of course I was rocking all the way there!

Cuz,

Better get some possible evidence gathered with this "Christy".

Just saying.

Appropriate bait is my truck and gas. Why does my truck have to go yet again today? Guess you better do something for me while you are in town. I just hand him a grocery list and pray my truck comes back in one piece!

He got part of the list right. He couldn't wash Guz that day. The car wash was closed.

Are there any resume gurus within our chicken hawk family?

I know. Random thought there.

No, I am not going to the WS at work.

I do need a change, though.

Help?

I absolutely melt in to a pile of despair building a resume.

I am really serious this time.

Probably thinking of me.

It is important to include no face tattoo as your building that resume! This would be correct???

It really sucks that I can't say on the internet how good I can hide things. Most of the time, I can never find them again! However, I am good with surveillance.

Oops! Just gave my game plan away on the internet!
