Yeah got my heart rate up quick just slow pedaling around with hoss.
He was following me more around the yard.......then trying to be on my side.....he respects the wheels naturally it seems.......
But hoss and I will work in first gear real slow..in the yard.......for quite some time.
I have disk brakes......can stop on a dime. Sweeeeet.|

Does anyone know the importance of locking your trike through the right rear wheel?

If I can lay claim to anything, it's being variant.

Though I am in awe of the variant-ness of ECIN's spelling. Professional vs sheer amateur.

I can lock my brakes ...at each brake handle to keep it from rolling away.
But it would not prevent theft.
High volume of trike theft in this city.
Got to lock them up.

I was thinking of street bikes where the front tire comes out of the frame easily, and often has a quick release thingy to make it even easier. Whereas the back wheel is firmly attached to the frame and has those gears and chains on it too. Of course, you're also supposed to go through the frame with your lock.

Put the lock only on the front wheel and you get this:

though it looks like he also had a cable lock through the back which got cut.)

You're supposed to chain it to something immovable too...but I bet you could use Hoss in a pinch. I don't imagine anyone would steal a TRIKE (notice my attempt to conform) belonging to a doberman.

My trucks are out of warranty. I just take them to my tire shop. Has been simple fixes with most of my encounters with them.

I better stop here because I don't want to summon ill will upon myself.
That's a very good question, Denny. And I shall try to answer you the best I can

The local Ford dealer is right down the street from us, which is convenient.
With many services, they are priced the same, or even less than the other places and with them, I know a Ford certified tech is looking at my vehicle and putting genuine Ford parts on it. For example, an oil change at quicky lube or valvoline cost around $60-$70 (and they always pressure you to get the better oil, and replace this and that). At Ford, I get the works package for $49 which is an oil change (using the correct oil), plus tire rotation, a check of all fluids, and a multipoint inspection.

This can be a shady town, with the large army base here....too many people try to inflate their prices and rip off the military including retirees so over time, I've kinda figured out who's half-way honest.

We did that about a year ago, mainly because we don't watch that much TV and we got tired of paying their outrageous prices and fees. But, I do like to watch the occasional football game and both Mrs. TN and I enjoy watching HGTV every now and then so I got us YouTube TV and that's just fine for us. Like you, I found I can find whatever I do want to watch on the internet

So I made it through the remaining 9 hours of videos today (now I truly know what it means to be mentally tired) so I'm all done with this online class. Now, I have to start taking their practice exam (Measureup); it's 151 questions and we have to score 85% before we can request the vouchers to take the official Microsoft exam. Personally, I was going to skip the vouchers and pay for the test out of my own pocket so I could bypass all the mandated bullchit but my boss put the guilt trip on me by telling me they had already paid for everyone's voucher (sigh...) so I'm playing the game. After I take the Microsoft test then it'll be time to start on the 2nd part of the cert, which means 16 more hours of online class. Blah! And so it goes.

It's finally finish raining, but it looks like we have some really cold weather coming our way the next few days so I don't know if Mocha and I will get to hike or not...high of 32 tomorrow and Monday, then a balmy high of 38 Tuesday...at least it looks like we'll have sunshine and low winds so a hike is a possibility...at least it'll be a break from the studying and I know Mocha is dying to get out again.

My brain hurts....

For something different.....well, OK, it's still Dimash but this one is opera-like, with choreographed skaters.

"Passione"
Igor Krutoy Jubilee Skating Concert

Igor Krutoy (the bald guy playing the piano here) is a famous Russian composer. He has written at least one song especially for Dimash. They have been collaborating in some spectacular performances.

Edited to add--oops, forgot the video.
You are welcome.

Wait I post some of that stuff

The skating/Passione was good as well.

Here's a link I've given to a lot of people and most of them have come back and told me it's helped them a bunch. This guy has a youtube channel, and his tutorials are broke down into 3 "Seasons", start with season 1 and work your way through and you'll learn more about your camera than you thought possible. He uses both DSLR and bridge cameras and keeps it very, very simple.

Thanks TN - finished first episode - listening to second (focus) one as I am typing. When I turn the camera on Mila doesn't like it....got up and moved away

I have to find where I can move the focus with my camera - off to find the manual

Good stuff.

Good morning.

Almost Doc!

I predict by end of January it will be done! Ha ha ha
Waiting on the contractor to schedule when he will be here.

In the meantime we are painting. Today we will do the guest room.

We prepped the walls last night with removing pictures, spackling nail holes, and the slight crack on the corner of the door. I didn't wipe down the walls yet but will do that here shortly.

Going to try Sherwin Williams paint this go around. Prior was Behr - I know Beau - but it seemed to turn out ok for us. Oh wait an interrupting thought here Bo knows or does Beau know!

Ok finish previous thought about Sherwin Williams - most "pro" painters use it around here. So when we painted 10 years ago - we couldn't get to the walls with the vaulted ceiling so hired someone to do so. He was not happy we had Behr( Sherwin Williams he said)....but by the end he said Behr was pretty good.

But we will trial ourselves on this one room and see. Will use the Duration base - mixed reviews but they all seem to have mixed reviews. Behr also has some mixed reviews but have more positive....Dislike reviews anymore.

Ok off to get ready to work!

Good morning...cold and windy here. Time to make some coffee

She is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are her life, her love, her leader.
She will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of her heart. You owe it to her to be worthy of such devotion.
