Uh Oh!

I had a smartarse comment to make but now I am dealing with the Mrs and her Lexus?

The only effect hard pressure sales have on me is to make me set my teeth and dig in my heels.......and I ended up missing some deals that could be there, if only I weren’t so busy saying no. Unfortunate.
I believe in warranties.

I am mad at myself that I didn't figure out the warranty game before now!

It really is, all about knowing your preferred product and what you expect it to do for you.

I worked with a lady and her husband was the dealer$hip used car manager.
- we had a friendly argument about paying for extended warranties / total cost expenses & benefits
- she said her husband, could talk me into one
- I called her BS / saying "if I needed the extra warranty...I bought the wrong vehicle make"

Mrs Beau has had one RAV4 repair in 2.5 years, a $90 rear axle stabilizer link plus $40 labor to install.
- I research the crap out of a vehicle, prior to making Toyota purchase / one with a proven engine & transmission
- next I take months, to search out a cream puff of an auto...patience is everything

Decades ago, I bought a new car & passed up the $2,500 warranty.
- never a problem, until vehicle was "T" boned and written off
- warranty was never needed

OK SP - if you find any good 2 year extended warranties, that cost less than $130 (90+40)...
- I'm ALL in..."like chicken on a June bug"

Morning Peeps!

I haven't got anyone to boss around this weekend, so here I am!

The mister went away to sell his house and now he thinks he can buy a couple of shipping containers and build a shop on my property.

Should I let him do it?

You can cancel your warranty at any time! For real!

I'm not canceling mine!

I know what goes wrong with GM products!

Still love them!

Thanks for the cup of coffee, Mel!

Putting my blinders on now!

He will come up with some sort of, "we can turn the containers into a dual shop/barn thing".

He will want to kill trees!

My plan was to only take out one non-native tree and use the barn as a neighbor block.

His plan considers taking out two mature native trees!

I don't know how to negotiate this!

SP - Your full of girly persuasion / blink your pretty little eyes !!
Failing that, your in a new kind of trouble......Dr. Beau PhD has spoken, his slice of wisdom.

Buying an Extended Warranty? READ THIS FIRST!!

^^ Buying the same dealer warranty, at half the price / might save someone some coin, in the future.

few days of clean up and finish drying corn

rain here has been VERY heavy the past 2 weeks - But the good Lord gave us a small window and that was all it took
