That's right, Beau. They ain't good for eating. I will go to the store for eatable chicken.

I would like to know why STJ, the "Big Lil Pup" hasn't graduated to Alpha. He's been here long enough.

My good friends here, will enjoy this video:
Cheers, Larry

-----------------------------------------------------

He waits for his friend to come out of here every day, and it’s something you have to see.

We’ve seen some unlikely friendships, but this one takes the cake! One day, a starving otter showed up at an elderly man’s door. And ever since, Seppo and Iivari the otter have been inseparable.

The man never could’ve imagined it’d lead to this! Wait until you see this adorably unique friendship.

It’s a story for the ages. There’s nothing like the bond between two friends, don’t you agree?

Perverted = Decadent right?

I found this definition of decadent on-line (naturally)--never heard of them, but apparently a “Decadent" is "one of a group of French and English writers of the latter part of the 19th century whose works were characterized by aestheticism, great refinement or subtlety of style, and a marked tendency toward the artificial and abnormal in content.

Wiki says "The movement was characterized by self-disgust, sickness at the world, general skepticism, delighting in perversion, and employing crude humor and a belief in the superiority of human creativity over logic and the natural world.”

We’re just reviving the movement.

Terrible streams of severe weather heading here. Might have to go to the hidey hole. Probably be up all night watching the news, praying to God, to not make me go into that hidey hole... There are spiders in there.

LOL

I know having to use hidey hole is worse than anything I can offer (be safe)--but we had 4 inches of snow on the ground when we woke up this morning--and while that has melted down to about 2 inches by now, it is still snowing, so we may end up with more accumulation than the original over the night.

Probably the same storm system as yours, only just a bit colder.

PS--do you have black widows in your hideout? We have them here our heater area/crawl space sometimes. Just a little extra thought I thought you’d like to mull over while you’re down there. I bet the chickies would take care of them quickly if you took them in with you though.

I’m not fond of spiders in any form; they have too many legs for me to get cozy with.

AND ALSO, remember to check under the seat of your outhouse for those pesky widows. My dad, who grew up with one (an outhouse, that is), said that was one thing (spiders) which made those nighttime visits always a bit adventurous.

Turn a TRAMPOLINE into a CHICKEN COOP...
You can move it around and they can have grass.
It's predator-proof! Great idea...what do you think?

Mel,

How is your snow situation?

There are zero windows in the hidey-hole. Memo to myself, must remember to get back up batteries!

The storm shelter is relatively, clean. Wouldn't be any longer if I brought the chickies down.
