Yes Yahoo Answers can get pretty "colourful" if you will, lol.
But on the same hand I have met some REALLY knowledgable people on that site. A couple of Schutzhund trainers, Dobe breeders, etc.
I have definitely learned a lot!

I actually frequent Yahoo Answers (in case anyone uses that - same user name).

Quattro is my Dobe boy and he is my first Doberman and first dog all together! Because of this I like to help educate people on the breed. I have done so much research because I went into this blindly and have had many great people give me such great direction, I am ever so thankful!

I got my dog from what you would call a backyard breeder - I had no idea this kind of thing existed until I went and did further research. I am now much wiser! I am lucky though, he has had no health problems (knock on wood) and he is absolutely gorgeous.

He is currently almost 1.5 years old and he is starting his first basic obedience training session this Thursday at a place called Gemini K9 in Ontario. His trainer was recommended to me by someone in my region's Schutzhund Club. I'm sure I will have lots of updates on how all that is going lol.

I believe in prong collars! lol
I also believe in some positive reinforcement in training but I also believe in corrections.

That's all for now
