LadyDi Oh I forgot to mention for TNFisher aka Lurker it will not be to long before our yearly vacation to Coopers Rock.
Certainly in hopes of being able to swing in to your place.
Maybe some ribs and/or fun chit chat on our deck.
You do still have a deck ...right?
Or is it a forest now.

LadyDi OK, evidentially all of you gave up on the second item I purchase so here is a PIC.
And to Stryker I hope you know what this gadget is for goodness sakes.

Did I ever mention that crappie is my favorite fish?
You've gotta' be kidding Denny! There is hardly any fish on a crappie--more bones than fish--I should know--use go fishing with my grandfather and his cronies when I was little--we at anything we caught and cleaned them where we were fishing but I well remember the look on my grandmothers face when we came home with mostly crappie.

I'd have a hard time choosing between a bunch of salt water fish--salmon, tuna, and something whose name escapes me this morning. Looked a lot like an oversized barracuda when we pulled it in and it caused the only 'real' fisherman on board to yell--"Get out of the cockpit.." He jumped in the cockpit and killed it--it had teeth like a shark and is evidently reputed to cause great damage if it manages to live long enough to slash you. But it was really good.

They are for the record--lone predators who trail fish that school and pick them off at their leisure. Hard to catch since they usually ignore anything other than live bait and it has to be fairly big and very alive.

ECIN Good morning everybody and to you LDi . Cold front came threw late yesterday , but not before dumping a bunch of rain first . Going to be nice fir a few days then back to hot and humid .

2 days ago - I was going of the bean planter and tractor for the final drive to get done planting , found a small drip from the hydraulic hook up on the tractor , checked fluid level and it was down a gallon = called Deere and they sent out a guy to over haul it with ne O-Rings inside the unit . While going over the drill - something was major wrong ! The drive for the seed delivery system was not right , it was way to tight , could hardly move it - it should be free moving , after working and trying different things - time to call the dealer for more ideas , this is what can drive you nuts right here - it was working prefect when I quit that Sunday night and now it don't . Anyway - started back on it yesterday , the planter still had beans in it so had to suck them out with shop vac to inspect each unit - 22 of them - still could not find anything ! Called dealer again , he called Great Plains for any ideas , We use seed treatment on our beans for see protection in cool wet conditions , Great Plains thing it is the seed treatment doing the deal - it makes things sticky and that is the problem , to fix it or see if that what it is , I may have to take all 22 units apart and clean them So what caused this ?? The hot and very humid weather + all the rain we have had did the trick - The treatment on the seed absorbed the moisture and made it very sticky , There is a product I can add to keep this from happening and I had it on hand to use when I plant corn , this has never happened and was never needed to plant bean - but for what ever reason - Great Plains has seen happen many times - most likely something has changed in the treatment . Something new on the farm everyday is seems , and it's no wonder I'm not right !

StrykersPerson Guess I am going to have to challenge to kick Mister's A$$ at something.

What shall it be?

I am really feeling Pictionary.

That game is so funny!

Once upon a time my then SO and I went across the street to our neighbors house to play Pictionary.

It was a hoot! Her husband was trying to draw something that would trigger "chicken".

Umm... none of us could get that he was trying to draw a bucket of chicken from KFC.

Great old school stuff, their MEL - that last one, was sure interesting.
- glad you don't remember that one...or it would have dated you

But with you and your sons gifted music talent...probably have one, stashed
in the organ room.
- a vintage stylophone, just begging to "Jack out of a Box"
05-29-2020 07:07 PM
melbrod AND this, provided by yours truly, for some easy listening on your Friday afternoon:

First, a Floppy music DUO - The Imperial March

Then the whole orchestra joins in

The Floppotron - Star Wars theme, on 64 Floppy Drives (and a couple of scanners and a few hard drives)

And now, for an extra treat, an instrument some of you may remember (I don't)...

LDi - you funny, but Papa not wearing No Tube Sock Bathing Suit...for anybody.
- such a confined space

And Bikini's must be, of the string variety.
- one little finger snap, and Oops I say

Let the POOL PARTY, begin.

------------------------------------------------

Beau went to 2 local Mennonite places today.

a) Sawmill - for 4.5" x 4.5" x 10 & 11 ft. long - White Oak Fence Posts.
- far better than water logged Pressure Treat, that are weak & crack
- Oak Posts are incredibly strong // comparing to buying 6x6" Pressure Treat (made from Pine core)

Unfortunately, he didn't have any W.O logs / so will have to use Twin67 guy, up North.
- he will also have Cedar logs, to cut into fence boards

b) Getting a family heirloom Table, made over the winter.
- so went to a Furniture store and go the contact for a Mennonite Table maker
- Kitchen Table, will have a 1-1/4" thick Black Walnut top // with ends done in Burl Walnut
- Apron of Table will incorporate Curly Maple (stained darker)
- Legs will be made from Harley67 Oak planks / 70 year old, unused boards from family farm
(same wood I used as shelves, on our TV mantle / beautiful vintage timber, down to the mini worm holes)

You are irritating me after my hard gruel of a job interview.

What you are suggesting is, I am going to make enough money for a lakehouse, PARTYBARGE, and a go fast boat? I was just settling.
