Kdstewart723 Laura,

Thanks lady. I would greatly appreciate that! You wouldn't happen to have a phone number or email for her would you?

Thanks Everyone!

I'm going to get in touch with Sharon. Thanks everyone for your responses!

Fitzmar Dobermans To add to what others have said about Sharon, she and I have been in a local Doberman club together since 2003..... I'm the newcomer compared to her - haha. Sharon will tell it like she sees it, and if she think you are being stupid, she will tell you. She hosts 3 cardio clinics at her house every year, and is the site for our club WAE almost every year. She also makes great cool coats, winter coats, bitch panties, etc.... She is really a good person to know and her Doberman knowledge is fantastic! She generally breeds once or twice a year, but the litter she currently has is her first in 1 1/2 years. Her dogs generally have great temperament - this current litter has the calmest puppies I've ever seen!! She has had top 20 Dobes and a IPO (has new name now.. I can't keep up) 3 Doberman, along with quite a few ROMs.

falnfenix Yup, she doesn't mince words, she doesn't hide anything. She's an open, honest book.

I can try to find out if she'll be at the big Timonium cluster in the spring? If she's there for the Specialty on Friday, she's usually there for the whole thing.

ECIN Welcome back 723 - From Indiana

Back a few months ago - I did call Sharon on a litter she had just had - I can pickup on people pretty good - even on the phone - I was impressed with her ,She is a straight shooter and tells it like it is - Which is right up my ally , No smoke and mirrors with her lol

She told me the price on the pup - I really don't know how she can sell one at that price - NOT saying it was cheap - matter of fact - they are on the upper side , But what you get from her is top of the line = lots of bag for your buck !

One last thing - She told me it had been and DON'T Quote me on this - But believe it had been something like a year and a half since her last Whelping so if you would like one of her pups - you better get in line .

Also - I would go with the words from the East Coast Gals on here ( Fitz and Falnfenix ) Like they said - they know and see her dogs first hand . Forgot - Also pretty good words from MC .

Good luck !

falnfenix Hey Kathy! You know my opinion of SharJet...I think we've talked about her before.

If we HAVEN'T? Well, let's just say Sharon is everything you'd want in a breeder. She shows at the big cluster in Maryland, and a few of our clubmembers have her dogs.

MeadowCat I have a friend with a Shar-jet bitch that I would take home in a heartbeat - I adore her. Great temperament. As far as I know she's been very happy with Sharon as her breeder, too.

steris56 Welcome!

Nothing helpful to add but one of the benefits of looking around for reputable breeders is knowing there are many like-minded folks out there putting their all into their dogs. Best of luck!

Artemis I know someone with a Melrae boy and a Melrae girl, both of whom she shows. She also occasionally does barnhunt at least with the male. Both seem like nice dogs I don't know them very well though. She took them to the DPCA nationals this year.

Fitzmar Dobermans I can definitely recommend Sharjet - Sharon Marinelli is a very good breeder. She has a litter on the ground now that is all spoken for, I'm not sure when she will be breeding again.

melbrod Hi! Welcome (back) to DT.

I know there are people on here with Sharjet dogs who will hopefully chime in...In the meantime, you can take a look at this thread:

Returning to the Doberman world

It's been so long since I've posted, but I've decided to rejoin the land of Dobermans. My male Doberman was euthanized (not from Wobblers) due to his losing battle with DCM and CHF, October 14, 2018. He was 6 years old. My female Doberman Luci was euthanized in May of 2017 at 12 years of age due to aggressive oral cancer. I currently have a 2-year old Rottweiler bitch that I share my life with. But I'm finally ready for another Doberman. So I'll be lurking about and looking for a new breeder to connect with. I'm currently interested in Melrae and Sharjet. Has anyone had any experiences with them that they would like to share? I live in Maryland and don't mind traveling for the right dog. I know I want a male and am very familiar with all of the necessary health testing that is needed. Please forgive my ignorance with my use of this site as I'm not 100% on how it works.

Thanks,
Kathy
