MaryAndDobes It seems odd that someone who joined 3 years ago, and who owns a dog that is a Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile CH is asking US where to buy a puppy? If you've shown your dog in 4 countries, wouldn't you have made seen who breeds the dogs you like, wouldn't you have made some contacts with those breeders? If your dog went out with a handler for those championships, it seems that your handler might be a good one to suggest a breeder to you since s/he's at the shows making those contacts?

Artemis I know a few things happened recently with the Brazilian national clubs. Your best bet would be to contact them and tell them what kind of Doberman you're looking for so they can help suggest breeders.
CBRD - Conselho Brasileiro da Raça Dobermann

You also have some good breeders in Argentina, Uruguay and Peru. Famously Argentina is home to "de Black Shadow" and "de Lex Luthor" as well as "de Vulcano" and "Nello's" Dobermanns.
The national club might be able to help you there too.

There is also a group on facebook called United International Dobermann and there is a member there who is a Brazilian breeder Nobilis Domum and another guy who I think is also in Brasil now who's screen name is Mark Brasil.
That being said ND to my understanding exclusively breeds European line dobes. There have been a recent influx of european imports in general to south america so be sure to ask a lot of questions. However he is very nice and cordial so if you wanted to find a breeder breeding lines more typical of south america, in Brazil, I am sure he could help you.

Fitzmar Dobermans You have some good Doberman breeders in Brazil and Argentina. If you plan to show in Conformation, I'd stick to South American breeders as the type is a little different than US Dobermans. There is plenty of interbreeding between South American and USA Dobermans, but it is fairly easy to see the type difference.

New from Brazil...looking for doberman puppy

Hi Dobermans lovers...
My name is Sam and I live in Brazil.
Well, I'm looking to buy a special show prospect puppy and maybe some friends here know a breeder that have puppies for sale or could be a planned litter too. Will be not problem to wait for that.
Also you can suggest me some bloodlines or kennels.
Two things that ares very important is the healthy and a serious breeders that looks to the standard Doberman.
My best
Sam
