Igor Krutoy (the bald guy playing the piano here) is a famous Russian composer. He has written at least one song especially for Dimash. They have been collaborating in some spectacular performances.

Edited to add--oops, forgot the video.

ECIN Oh Mel - we have had the same thing here - lol Ali was the worse - really the worse time to let them out is when its sprinkling or just about done raining , with a drop here and a drop there - they start out , back up then come back out some - then a drop hits them in the head , then they back up real fast , then I'm saying , are you coming out or going back in , then about 50 percent of the time - they will come out - do a circle and want back in - all the while looking at you like get that damn door open dad

Is this what your talking about ?

melbrod Sometimes my aim is not so good with my weather directing.

Thank you modm for the music vid. SO much better than the stuff that normally gets posted here.

You have no idea how impressed I am with this, ECIN. Mine always insist on the door actually being opened, letting in the cold and a little of the wet, before deciding not to go out in it. As for going back to sleep, nah. They have to stay up so they can ask again 5 minutes later, because, you know, maybe it's stopped raining (or snowing, or blowing, or at least stopped being inclement, anyway.)

I caught that too, Mel--wondered about a grammar police person who didn't include all possible errors.

Gotcha' SP!

OH dang ! Forgot -- Good morning TN ole Buddy ! Wished we lived closer - need camera help
I skipped breakfast today, just had a big cup of coffee

It's chilly and raining here, Mocha went out, came back in, ate her breakfast and promptly curled up on her bed and went back to sleep...wish I could do that!

Here's a link I've given to a lot of people and most of them have come back and told me it's helped them a bunch. This guy has a youtube channel, and his tutorials are broke down into 3 "Seasons", start with season 1 and work your way through and you'll learn more about your camera than you thought possible. He uses both DSLR and bridge cameras and keeps it very, very simple.

Here is the first video of season 1, called Program, the better Auto

The event is not cancelled. I'm watching road conditions - I have a few hours before I have to go. Thinking I'll be going, but we'll see.

Not disappointed, exactly, but it's always funny when they get us all hyped up for a huge storm and then it kind of fizzles out.

Thats funny as heck!
Yeah Scott and I were just discussing clothes pins and cards.
BUT...we did not have anything to amplify the sound.
So funny.......forgot about those cards......that sound would actually allows the cats to know we are coming and to find high ground. It’s actually a good idea.....time will tell. I learn so much from you roosters.
Anyway...today is my day to ride.
As far as Hoss his training will be a slow-wwwwww process at a later date.
Anyway...........time to go pick on the bike builder dude!

And it seems like if you can persuade a cow to pull a plow, you could work up some kind of snow plow contraption
That heifer is hysterical! Ours would probably do that, too. Whenever Rich makes a new compost pile, they always have to run up on it and "kill" it. They push on EVERYTHING, which is why stuff is always broken around here. Horses are more polite, and one strand of polywire strung between posts is sufficient for a fence, but a cow? You put a 10" diameter wood post in the ground and the first thing she thinks is, "Hmmm, I wonder how long it will take me to push that over?" Yeah. So maybe I could get them to PUSH a plow. That would be easier to do.

Oh, and by the way, I must have really had a lugubrious (sorry, couldn't resist!) look on my face when Rich told me he couldn't move that drift with the Bobcat, because he went out and shoveled a path through it while I was filling the wheelbarrow (twice!) yesterday morning. He did it, but I'm sure he hurt himself. I hope not too bad, or I'll have even MORE chores to do.

And not that it did any good in the long run, other than I got two loads of crap out of the barn. The south wind quit about 1:30 yesterday, then started in again from the north about an hour later, and is blowing JUST as hard as it did yesterday, so that little path will be gone by this morning. And the weather guessers guessed wrong again. They said no snow, but we got snow. I don't know how much yet, it's still dark, but there's a big drift on the dog porch again.

It's back down to below zero again as well (the wind chill is -27 at the moment), but it should be warming up again after Monday. Seriously, like highs in the mid- to high-30s and lows only in the high teens and 20s. It's like a tropical heat wave! Meanwhile, Morgaine is still stranded over at the neighbor's place because we can't clear the snow out long enough to get the trailer out and back in again. Have to wait until either the wind stops or the temps get up above freezing enough to melt a crust on the snow so it stops blowing around.
