Can I borrow your Mom for one more hint?

Did I give it away because I thought I was never going to REALLY use it? My gut says I didn't do that.

I still have three more spaces to investigate. Mister has one of them blocked off with boy work crap!

And the reason I am in a fervor to find it is, Mars is RIGHT there!

That's my drama and I am sticking to it.

She said.....no you did not give it away....keep looking..it’s there.

spocksdad Good morning everyone!

Did hot water heater changeout yesterday, not much time for CT.
Did some research of new tankless demand types vs. tank type. Last one lasted 12+ years, which is good for SA area with very hard water.
Will post a project overview later on today. Got to wrap up pipe insulation and some touch up painting in WH closet today, then on to next project....

I'm definitely closer to the last than the first.

Now, CT Class, can someone please give us an example of each?

Doubtful - "I'm doubtful Denny will find her telescope"

Cynical - "If Denny does find her telescope, she'll use it to snoop on her neighbors"

Sarcastic - "I'm 100% SURE Denny stowed her telescope right next to the z-Track keys."

Uncertainity vs distrust vs contempt—

The Mister: "That pile of dishes is getting pretty high."

vs. "Looks like you've got a lot of dishwashing, wan't some help?"

vs. "Alright then, if you won't let me in "your" kitchen, have fun loney-loney*!"

*"Loney-loney" is a term passed down from my grandparents to my parents to my DW, who still uses it today to describe any selfish behavior on the part of one's spouse or child. (usually males)

(SP, sorry to use you as example, but you provide us a treasure trove of material in your posts, along with a lot of good laughs!)

Or maybe even on your back porch.....but it is in that area because you use the telescope out off the back porch.
Do you have pull down steps that go up into the attic?
Not sure but this is what she told me......no response on lottery numbers.
Good luck finding your scope.
Umm... nothing up in the outdoor attic except the boxes and boxes and boxes of canning jars the previous owners left behind. Mister uses a ladder to get to the attic.

I think there is a canning pot up there, too!

Not even close, Ma!

LMAO

Definitely not in Guz!

Although, I could go on the old version of Let's Make a Deal when it comes to my truck! Ask me if I got it in my truck. I wager I can scrounge it up!

That was hitting below the belt, but hilarious and true!

Stop telling stories!

I do too use my oven! I get scolded for using it in the summer when the AC is going, because I am heating up the house!

So there!

I saw a local TV brief about cats that were testing positive. I am not a vet, just throwing it out there.

No need to worry, though.

I already put it in the air that she is going to be fine!
And I just saw this article:

North Carolina dog that died after 'acute' illness tests positive for coronavirus

The article doesn't mention if the dog had any other issues, like possibly DCM or something else.

Cynical?

What are the differences between cynical, sarcastic and down right doubtful?

Just adding to your job duties on the CT!

I love you Ma!

My Mother ....

We reside in her house which is also the house I was raised in....

My Mother passed away many years ago ....so when I am looking for something and cannot find the item......I talk to her and ask her where the item is......Scott is amazed at how many times after I do this (sometimes immediately or a little while later) a thought will pop into my head and I will go right to the item I am seeking.

Not kidding.......this works for me.

Try it.

While your Mom is looking for my telescope can she pick the numbers for the lotto? She's probably got a stack of "dollars" hidden somewhere in the house that you don't know about!

Probably a lot more info than you want but...

She had the full out runs early yesterday morning, and then I took her to the vet right at 8. Once I picked her up, I gave her the meds and the canned food, and she didn't poop all day, which I thought a good sign.

This morning, she pooped and although it wasn't runny, it wasn't solid either. On a scale from 1-5, it was about a 2.5. Formed, but very, very soft, with some liquid mixed in at the end. Hopefully things are slowly getting better, we'll see.

But she does have some awful (and I mean awful!) gas right now

If they agree to do a full abdominal ultrasound tomorrow, and don't find anything, and things don't go back to normal I'll ask my vet to refer us to the internal specialist ASAP.

Sorry Mrs TN.
