You just copied pictures from one of those foodie websites. Those look too good. I kinda like how your egg wash looks. It is more visually interesting than uniformity would be. |

Ok all done with the rolls - came out ok...Taste pretty good, perhaps a touch too much honey. Egg wash could be more uniform. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

melbrod | I had someone order a high end set of golf clubs on my card once. They had them shipped to Hawaii, though...no problem convincing the credit card company that it was not my order. |

I am constantly dealing with credit and bank fraud. I am debating about going to the police this week about a check that was written on my business account...i am not sure if they will do anything to her and it will take time from my day. I had someone open bank account in my name a few years back , it was a fairly big deal since they were using a service with the post office that would hold your mail and allow someone to physically go to the post pick out mail they wanted and send the rest to the address. You would not be aware that your mail was being messed with since the criminal was picking out any correspondence that for their fraud. They would build confidence with the bank with small purchases and then go full out on money spending. We caught it when one piece of mail got through and shut it down as it was ramping up. It was a big deal and we were on the local news due to this unique way of fraud. Early on in married life someone had opened a credit card in my name in Jacksonville, its purchases were be done high-end womens fashion stores. My girl thought i had a little honey that i was taking care of on the side... she was not happy with me for a days ![]() ![]() These frauds and others have never cost me any money but plenty of time and aggravation. |

Morning all! Marathon sewing yesterday...I think I sewed 11 coats? Also managed to get the dogs out for a walk, did a little training with them to entertain them (just a bit of conditioning on their Fitbones, tricks, etc). They were really good all day - I so appreciate this stage of life when they can hang out with me for 7 hours of sewing! Sypha's in the midst of being holtered, too. Today I'm having coffee (maybe brunch) with my mom, sewing a little more, and then just relaxing. The long sewing day took a bit of a toll...I'm tired! We're in for a more snow starting late tonight - supposed to get 3-6 inches. Tomorrow's commute is supposed to be nasty. Tuesday the temps drop to COLD. Very cold. Yuck. |

So Done with first stage of roll making. Made the starter (30 minutes) - yeast water and flour Mixed Flour Starter 50g Water 6 eggs 4 egg yolks 2/3 cup sugar 4 tbs honey 1.5 sticks butter Kneaded for almost 30 minutes - I do not have a stand mixer capable of that type of dough. I typically let time take care of kneading. So my arms / shoulders are tired. Rising for an hour - then divide into 24 equal pieces and roll out to 16" or so and then make a braided roll Rise again until puffy Bake.... Ok Doc - maybe going to the grocery store is best! ![]() It is like ![]() ![]() |
